Log house Loreto Aprutino Villla

The villa is built of pine using modern environmentally friendly building techniques. It is immersed in an organic olive grove. It has balconies at the front and back to enjoy the beautiful mountain (full Appennini range) and countryside views. Air conditioners provide cool or warm air and a burning stove keeps the ambient temperature up during the cooler months.

This is the place to switch off from anything to doo with city life, it's totally quiet and natural. Besides, you can opt for the fun Italian and hands-on 'Abruzzese' cooking sessions offered on-site. This will greatly enhance your holiday experience helping you interact and become familiar with the language and culinary richness of this region.

Staying at the villa, you will have a relaxing and holiday with plenty of places to explore nearby. The grounds around the house can be explored and the back garden area there are table and chairs to eat alfresco. Hammocks hang in the trees around the house to take a siesta in the nature.

Stunning nature reserves, mountains, beaches, walks, hikes and more are all within easy reach - Abruzzo is THE hidden gem of Italy.

Please note that the house is situated in the countryside with the closest bust stop 20 minutes walk away and limited service. Once you leave the main tarmac road, you need to drive about 200 metres on a country road ‘white road’. Most cars are fine but a very low clearance car such as a sports car will not be suitable. If you have a choice when hiring a car, then a 4x4 would be the ideal type of car.

Please note that July and August are very very hot months in Italy. The house has air conditioning on the ground floor and in the bedrooms in the upper floor for your comfort. If you choose a Summer stay you need to be realistic and sensible about the hot temperatures.
We would expect guests NOT to leave the aircon on while out for the day, the air con units are very efficient and within a few minutes will cool the rooms, so no need to leave them on for hours while nobody is at home, or the whole night on downstairs while you are sleeping upstairs, please help reduce green gases by judiciously using the aircon only when you actually need it.
