This was a lovely upscale hotel. We would have liked to have dinner there, but they were booked before we arrived. getting to the underground parking facility was difficult. The hotel was grand!
I was in town for a baptism and a wedding. First time in Dijon. The hotel location is great because it's right in front of the town's plaza. The room was clean. The air didn't work and it was hot even with the windows open. The restaurant staff were not happy we only wanted to have dessert and asked we go else where for that. after I insisted he agreed but never took my order, so after waiting for about 20 minutes we left without dessert. The staff was not helpful or friendly. I would not recommend this hotel. Poor service.
The historic hotel is old and beautiful with a very cozy feel. The bathroom could use an update. Its very difficult to shower with only a 2 foot panel of glass next to you, the floor becomes a swimming pool. The room overall was bright and cozy but the bed was bad. The linens and comforters were great but the mattress or feather topper was so uneven from it being slept on many times. It was high in the middle and low on the sides, felt like you're going to roll off. The room service was fast and friendly and the food was excellent. The gym is pretty much non-existant, just a bike and an arm gym, the ski machine is so outdated and doesnt really work. The hotel really has that grand historic feel but just needs a little maintenance. It is in a beautiful location and in walking distance to everything and the train station.
Breakfast should have better options. Felt captive
We only stayed at this hotel one night but we certainly would have stayed longer if possible. The hotel was in a wonderful location. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were very nice.
exellent service - room had a great view and very clean and great amenities
