"We really enjoyed our stay at The Quiet Guest Cottage. This cozy little home was newer and better than we expected. Greg and Kelly provided every possible necessity and then some. While it sits close to their personal residence, we never once saw them in the three nights we were there. We would absolutely stay here again."

"This place is nicely located off the Maine route to Bar Harbor, so it works great as a stop off both going to or coming from. There's also a handy grocery shop and gas station right at the corner. The trip back and forth to Mt. Desert can easily be done in a day, especially if it is during the week. With 3 bedrooms and 2 baths, laundry, full kitchen, and a comfortable TV room to entertain the kids, it's a good alternative to camping or staying in a more rustic setting. We didn't make it down to the water, as it is down a long steep driveway and across the road with iffy footing to the deck and dock area. I have difficulty walking, so for those more sure footed that might be a nice bonus."
