I didn't like the concept of this hotel. It is not a hotel, nor a B&B. The rooms are too small and the cafeteria was too simple. There are many other hotel on the same street with a nicer ambience and concept.

Odd Smell

Our room smelled of rotten cabbage/broccoli or sewage the entire stay so much so that my husband had to go out and buy air freshening spray. I'm not sure what could have caused such a stench except deep rooted mold and mildew in the walls. I was uncomfortable my entire stay, and I was glad we were not there more than 2 nights.

Review of Henry Hotel: Nice clean hotel in a reasonable location about 5 minutes walk away from Queensway underground station. Rooms are nice and clean. They are extremely small, though, with very little room to move around in. It would be a tight squeeze for 2 people, especially if they have luggage. We had 2 rooms and the bathroom in one for the rooms was extremely small. Beds were average comfort. Nothing special. And they had no twin options (rooms are too small for 2 beds anyway) Sleep unfortunately was disrupted at 5am due to a malfunctioning fire Alarm. So overall, was not a comfortable night sleep, and probably won't use that hotel again.

We were disappointed with the size of our room - it was extremely small with only a small area to hang clothes and no shelves or cupboard space. Suitcases had to sit in the limited floor space. The Trainline also ran behind the building on the side our room was so we had to invest in earplugs for nighttime. Fine for one night but unfortunately we were there for 4 nights. Also no cleaning/servicing of rooms - this costs an additional £25 per clean.

Nice hotel in Bayswater. The room and the hotel was clean and modern. It was nice and quiet. The beds were comfortable and we slept so well. The weather in London was very hot, so we loved stepping into the cool, air conditioned room every evening. Would absolutely stay here again!
