This is a hidden gem, in a quiet residential area, you think you’re going the wrong way and then there it is. Room was no15, top floor, no elevator but didn’t bother me. Lovely clean room, very modern, close to Olympia too and close to tubes. Lady on reception Sunday 21st was lovely and very friendly. Wi-fi too, very fast for free. Only complaint was the shower head (see pic) it was gross and dirty, there should be no excuses for modern hotels to clean and descale these regularly (legionnaires diseases regs) I would stay here again for sure but would insist on a different shower head.

Simply Rooms and Suites worked well for us. It was clean, well appointed and with comfortable beds. We were with our two children so we needed 2 rooms. Hotels in the city were at least double the price of Simply Rooms and Suites. Being in Kensington allowed us to be a little outside the city but just a tube ride away. My only complaint is that the stairwell smelled of mold.

I had spend 4 days 3 nights in this hotel and it was the worst customer experience I ever had among all my travels. Please DO NOT book with this hotel if you plan to have an uneventful stay in a hotel. On the first day upon reaching, we proceeded to charge our handphones through an electrical socket that was placed (funnily) right below the room’s Air Conditioner, then we proceeded to have our rest for half an hour. Upon waking up, we realised that the Air Con was leaking water extensively and had wet my entire charger and even our room’s telephone cable had short circuited. My charger was completely wet and could not be used anymore as water had flooded all the way into the inside of the socket. I went to the receptionist to clarify this issue, and asked for some compensation for my charger. The receptionist at that point of time, Peter, was nonchalant about the issue and kept saying that he is not sure what to do, and is just a worker. Thereafter, their manager, Mena, arrived. This was the worst. Mena proceeded to make claims against me to say that I am trying to claim false accusations against them, by bringing a faulty charger to their room. He admitted that his Air-Conditioner had broken down, and that the telephone line had short circuited due to the water leakage too. Yet he could absurdly say that “ But I do not think the faulty charger is due to the air-conditioner leakage, prove it to us. ”. As I was going to head out for my tour soon, he told me he would get back to me by the night or the next morning. I told him I wont be around the next morning so I would need to hear from him at night, which he was fine with it. Despite that, upon heading back, he was not around anymore, and when I contacted the receptionist to get in touch with him, the receptionist said that he had knocked off and did not want to answer to any queries. So now, I was supposed to arrange my tour schedules to fit his work timing instead? He did not even bother to leave any message or note behind even. My air conditioner remained unfixed for the first two nights, and was only functional on the 3rd night of my stay, in the summer heat of London. I felt accused, as in why would a traveller even bring a faulty charger overseas? And if he had admitted to his telephone line breaking down due to the water leakage, he had even the cheek to say it “may not be the case for your charger”. It was just a 30 pound charger, but I did not expect a rude yet accusative tone from Mena. I hope this issue can be clarified. His language and tone used throughout the conversations was even to the point of shouting and screaming and it terrified me and my partner to pursue the matter upon our stay there. We hope some upper management could read this and clarify this matter.

Just checked into the hotel and the place does not look as modern as the front of the hotel. Just got into the room and found a grape on the floor meaning the room was possibly not cleaned properly. The room is super small for someone with big suite cases and also for people staying for a long time. There are no elevators so we had to lug our super heavy suitcases up 3 floors. The bathrooms are small and the room has a musty smell. I don't think we would stay again.

Stayed with a friend for 2 nights and it was in a great, central location. It had great AC, which saved us since it was extremely hot out!! Although the room was quite small, and the floors were a tad dusty, the beds were clean and comfortable and the hospitality gets 5 stars. I accidentally left my dress there and they held onto it until it could be picked up and delivered. They were very kind with their phones/email exchanges and I am grateful for their support. Would stay with them again!

My colleague and I shared a room here. It was outrageous. The room was so small we kept banging ourselves on walls and door handles. £200 a night for a totally rubbish room. Have a walk in wardrobe that's bigger than this place! Wouldn't stay there again for free!

Stayed here for weekend in London to see a show . Stayed in deluxe suite . Bit of a trek from tube station as district line was closed for engineering work so approx 15 to 20 min walk to Earl's Court tube . Would be good location if were visiting an event at Olympia as that was only couple of minutes walk away . Room was clean though a bit on the small side especially the bathroom which was tiny . Complimentary biscuits and mineral water were appreciated . Kitchen was very poorly equipped ( only one dish , 2 plates , 2 knives and forks ) but wasn't an issue as didn't plan on using it . Decorations could do with a touch up and one of lights didn't work in bathroom . Wallpaper on staircase damaged in a few places . Bed was very comfortable and being at back of hotel didn't hear any noise at all . Place could do with a bit of maintenance really as looking bit tired and forgotten about . Probably wouldn't stay here again mainly due to location unless I was visiting Olympia . With a bit of attention to maintenance place would be a lot better than it currently is

This is ideally located for where I occasionally work in Kensington. It is a quiet location and the staff are friendly. The shower head was broke so I had to hold it above my head which is a shame. There was no bottle opener in the kitchen, and in fact the kitchen was very sparsely stocked, so if you want to cook a meal check what utensils you'll need first. Not bad value, but not great value either.

Location was great for what we needed. Walking distance to several areas with a ton of restaurants and pubs. The rooms are small but clean and the staff is extremely helpful and friendly. We were there for business and would be happy to return.

I stayed in Simply Rooms and Suites for two weeks and it was more than great! I stayed in an executive double room which was spacious (compared to London standards), clean and had everything I needed. The kitchenette was also a big plus! I had a nice view from the window to the backyarda of the nighbouring building which was all green so again very nice. The nighborhood is quiet. The hotel is a 5-6 minutes walk to West Kensington tube station and there are two express markets (a Tesco and a sainsbury's) within a walking distance that stay open until 11 pm. The manager -Kirolos- and the rest of the staff were super nice and helpful. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a good place to stay in the city. Next time I will treat myself to a suite :)
