One night stay

I needed a bed for the night after going to the Barbican and working the next day. The hotel was convenient and the room well priced. I slept well so no complaints at all - the breakfast was a bonus.

Poor hotel in a good location

Aside from the great location and strong water pressure in the shower, there was nothing good about the stay. Yes it's a budget-friendly hotel, but it's clear that absolutely everything in the room is the cheapest available, especially the bed and pillows. We had 2 awful nights of sleep and usually are good sleepers. The breakfast is rationed (eg. 1 piece per person) so we didn't bother, and we were shocked at how unsustainable the property is with no consideration for eco-friendly alternatives. Give yourself a better visit to London by booking into a Premier Inn or Travelodge which will cost you the same amount but with far more comfort. We won't be returning.

Great location, lots to do on even around property. Highly recommend the 10min walk to Old Street tube stations. Saves 2 changed of lines to get central. Property clean and staff friendly. Breakfast was a little bit of a weird combination, but worked. Deluxe room very spacious. Heater in room did not work, but room was too warm, so had air con on instead

Good hotel with decent size rooms

Good option, room was a reasonable size for London & kept warm. Bed a bit short & I'm not tall, with an uncomfortable wooden board at the bottom. Friendly staff, helpful & simple breakfast included. Could have done with coffee refill & also coffee capsule replacements for second night.

Our stay at the Shoreditch Inn, was rather mixed. We had booked a deluxe double room that was supposed to be more spacious. Obviously we paid extra for the upgraded room but when we went up to it we good barely move around the room. There was a chair wedged under a unit at the bottom of the bed that I had to move to get around. You couldn’t walk past the bed if the cupboard door was open. The photographs on the website for the deluxe room were complete fabrication. Having said this, the bed was comfortable and the room was clean. I was just not happy paying for an upgrade that clearly wasn’t one. I spoke to the lady on departure about it and she insisted room 207 was deluxe, it wasn’t. Absolutely nothing like the rooms shown on the website. The staff were very nice, the room was clean, but my advise is just don’t waste your money on an upgraded room.

Great place close to City

I stayed for just a night before going to a meeting near Bank. The room was clean and comfortable and perfect for my needs. I was able to walk in to the City next morning. The reception staff and breakfast staff were pleasant and helpful. The area around the hotel has lots of good restaurant and pub options. I would definitely recommend.
