SCAMMERS!!! DO NOT STAY HERE!! BEWARE!!!

This experience was the most absolutely stressful and (still) remains unresolved. I was unaware that this accommodation was for a solo traveler. There was no communication about this until the day before arrival. There was no communication about this WHEN I ATTEMPTED TO CHECK IN. Instead I was told that I cannot check in and to come back after 4pm. Then, as I walked out of the building I recevied a message through hotels.com saying "we cannot continue with your reservation due to number of travelers". I proceeded to call the numbers listed in the emails. No answer. I was redirected to "Under The Doormat" which I have no idea who that or how they are connected to the property. I am told that I would NOT receive a refund directly from them and that I needed to contact hotels.com. I did this. Hotels.com began investugation and COULD NOT REACH ANYONE at the property. Therefore, no refund. I then saw that I was marked as "checked in" on property and recevied several "how is your stay going" emails. I WAS NOT ON PROPERTY AND NO-SHOWED and this property proceeded to pretend that I was here in order to keep my money. SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM. I have yet to receive ANY help. I even WENT BACK IN PERSON and they refused to take accountability, did not have anyone on property to speak to and tried to pass me off again on to "Under The Doormat". DO NOT STAY HERE AS THESE PPL WILL SCAM YOU ANY WAY THEY CAN.
