Our stay was 50% excellence, 50% poor, with nothing inbetween.
The room was large, clean, and very comfortable. The beds were wonderful. The shower was powerful and easy to use, but leaked through the shower screen, and the bath was super slippy to stand in (as was the floor once the shower had leaked on it). We were only given two bath towels for a four person room and couldn't get in contact with anyone in the evening for more.
Some of the reception staff were excellent in person, they couldn't do enough to help and advise us both before and during our stay. However, our attempts to call down to reception went unanswered on every one of the three separate occasions we tried to speak to someone (to ask for towels, a menu, and report broken air con). One woman on reception was dismissive of our inquiries for a room service menu and when we went down to ask in person.
The windows did not open and the climate control was broken. As mentioned, no one answered when we called down to report it. When I reported it on check out, I was told the air con could be quite hard to use and set, even though I know I had set it correctly and the issue was there was no cool air and no fan. It was annoying to be implied to be too stupid to use it, when it was broken.
