Hidden gen in the historic London Mews

This place was such a find. It’s right in the heart of South Kensington but in a completely quiet area which was so surprising, you don’t feel like you’re in the middle of London at all. The beds were super comfortable, and it fit the five of us perfectly. It’s set over three floors, which made it feel spacious and easy for a family to settle in. Having one and a half bathrooms really helped too. The dishwasher and washer were also great amenities to have for a family of 5.Our hosts were warm and easy to communicate with. Natasha even met us nearby to make sure we found the place, which we really appreciated after a long day! Our flight was delayed and she was so understanding and waited for us.The location was perfect. A few minutes from the tube, an easy walk to the grocery store and the bus stop, and close to everything we wanted to do. The balcony was a favorite spot for us, the beautiful Mews rooftop views were the ultimate London experience and we used it every morning and evening for coffee and an end of day drink with a sunset view. We honestly couldn’t have picked a better place! I’d love to go back one day, walking back in the quiet cobblestone streets with the kids was definitely a memory that will stay with our family forever.

AMAZING OPPORTUNITY TO STAY IN A CUTE HOUSE IN VERY CENTER OF LONDON

Location is amazing , in a small street in the very center of town, full of flowers.Cute, comfortable & peaceful house with balcony on top floor.Host was very helpful by letting us to check in at 10 am . The lovely lady showed us around the house and told us all about the area facilities re shopping and restaurants which i found excellent with loads of coffee places to relax. I can imagine my kids enjoying Amorino's Ice Cream just around the corner.We look forwards returning again with our families to this lovely place.

Sehr schöne Mews-Haus mit stilvoller Sanierung auf drei Etagen. Nur punktuell waere demnaechst wieder etwas anzupassen. Fuer uns Drei war Alles inklusive Lage top und gemuetlich noch dazu. Die Vermieterin Natasha war sehr nett und hat uns ueber ihren Empfang viele gute Tips und Informationen gegeben.Auf das Klappsofa im Wohnzimmer im Erdgeschoss konnte sogar unser Sohn mit 1,90 m Körperlaenge gut schlafen. Außerdem hatte er im kleinen Nebenraum eine eigene Toilette mit Waschtisch. Wenn man zu Zweit ist hat man unten einen schönen Sitzbereich.In der ersten Etage ist das Schlafzimmer. Das Bett ist bequem und für zwei Personen geeignet. Das Bad ist voll ausgestattet mit Handtuchhalter-Heizkoerper, Badewanne, Waschtisch und Toilette. In der zweiten Etage befindet sich eine voll ausgestattete Kueche, wobei wir nur wenig Geschirr und Besteck genutzt haben. In London fehlt die Zeit zum Kochen! Auf dem Balkon waren wir auch kurz, aber es war natürlich Ende November zu kalt zum Sitzen. Die nächste U-Bahn Station ist Knightsbridge (Brompton Rd auf Seite Harrods). Der kuerzeste Weg zu Fuss ist ab der U-Bahn entlang der Brompton Rd nach Westen, dann rechts in die Montpellier St., danach links in den Cheval Pl., wieder rechts in die Rutland Str. und dann durch die "Hole in the Wall" nach Westen in die Rutland Mews E. und wieder links. Alternativ auch (wenn man von Westen/S. Kensington Tube kommt ab Brompton Rd in den Cottage Pl bis zum Ende, danach 2x rechts abbiegen.
