No heat!!!!

This property would have been satisfactory if it hadn't been for one very major problem. First, the satisfactory part. It was pretty much as described however it is a stretch to call it chic; reasonably clean, good entry ins etc. Problem was it was not overly warm weather when we stayed there and it was a semi basement apartment. As a result it was very cold. The the thermostat was controlled by a home management device and it was set on I think 10 C or about 50 f. When we tried to adjust it, it was locked and kept asking for a pin. As a result we could not adjust the heat up. We contacted the property manager and she was very nice and told us she would take care of it right away. Over the three days of our stay, the promises kept coming but nothing was ever done. She kept saying that she needed to talk to the owner and that they would take care of it. That never happened. We were so cold we finally resulted to turning on the convection oven and leaving the door open just to keep the place tolerable. Probably not only wasteful but dangerous, but we had no choice. That was certainly the biggest problem. But in addition, the entryway requires you to go down below street level via some very narrow cement steps to the front door. There was no light so when coming home after the theater it was quite treacherous. Additionally, the day we left the lights in the second bathroom shorted out. Not burned out but the whole thing shorted out! I would not recommend this stay.
