Staff - very good , friendly and customer service orientated. To name a few (sorry for bad spelling, spelling on memory of reading name tags) At the Spa , Erna , Rani and Lenawati are amazing. Not to mention the spa salesman at breakfast Mugni - amazing Everyone at the Senja restaurant amazing. Especially the lady asna (I think) Concierges great , security great. Rooms definitely need an upgrade. Very old school but still clean and comforting. Literally on the beach so to relax and have fun is easy. Pool is great. Breakfast is amazing too If you not snobbish about a very modern looking room and shower. With the level of service here. I would recommend. I stayed in lombok for 5 days and for 2 of them I just relaxed at the hotel and on the beach - worth it.
We stayed at the Sheraton Sengiggi for three nights in March 2018. Yes, the rooms are in need of an update but if you don't spend much time in your room apart from sleeping then this should not be a major concern. Air conditioning worked well. The pool area is fantastic. Big pool with a small waterslide. Breakfast was good, plenty of variety. Our boys particularly liked the ice cream and fairy floss! Well equipped but small gym. Check in was pretty smooth, however, we had booked three rooms for our family of six and I was disappointed that they were not close to each other despite receiving an email from the hotel saying that the rooms would be near each other. Lucky our children are old enough to not need constant supervision as our room was in a different building and on a different level.
Spent three nights with my family last week. Booked two rooms under my name but when we went to check in they only showed one room under my wife’s name. Later when I asked they found another room under my wife’s name. The staff gave us two rooms at two different floor saying they have 100% occupancy but as per other staffs at the hotel they have just over 50% occupancy. Rooms are ok but quite old and definitely needs renovation. I found bugs crawling on the bed. Shower area water drainage is very poor. Intercom had a strong stench, ddnt feel to touch it. Great selection of breakfast but staffs are not attentive to guests. Every time had to ask them for tea/coffee. Pool Is huge. Tried the cocktails at the pool side bar, not up to the mark. Checkout was a nightmare. Their system broke down early in the morning. I was rushing to airport to catch my flight to Bali . They wasted over 30 minutes to reboot with no success finally they billed me manually . I almost missed my flight that day.
I have to admit that this resort is quite old. In the room, you can see that the rooms has been aging, there is some stain here and there especially in the toilet, during raining sometime we can hear that water is dripping from roof to the ceiling part (eventhough I do not see the traces of water in the ceiling). But despite of that, the outside is just marvelous. The pool is just huge and excellent, for kids it is just a great place to hang around. The beach is clean and quite private. The breakfast has many varieties with great taste as well. The location is in Senggigi area, where so many restaurant around the hotel. Overall it is still a great place to stay especially for family with young kid.
We had a fabulous time at he Sheraton Senggigi. All the staff were friendly and welcoming and the buffet breakfast was second to none (hello fairy floss machine) I would stay here again in a heart beat.
We stayed here 4 nights and enjoyed every day. Check in was efficient and friendly. Room was big enough and clean...large TV and beautiful balcony. Pool was perfect and relaxing...been here every day at least for a quick dip. Breakfast was busy...food tasty...egg station lady Mia was very friendly.
I stayed for a short week in March 2018 to find relaxation. Well, from the moment you arrive at this Sheraton property, you'll feel yourself a welcome guest. Super friendly staff will care for you and your belongings when I was being checked in for my suite room. A cooling welcome drink was given upon the procedures while my bags were taken care off by staff. ✈ Lobby/Reception: Super nice decorated area with beautiful flowers set up in an arty style. Nice seating for your comfort and cool area. The reception is staffed 24/7 and staff is always available for assistance. ✈ Room: My room was actually a 2-room suite on the third floor in block 5. Situated on the top floor, with a separate bedroom with comfortable kingbed and access to the large balcony with 2 lounger seats, a table, and a sofa. From here, a great view on the overall garden and, in a little distance, the oceanview partially blocked by the trees. Airconditioning can get the room pretty cold, but makes the air dry. I got a sore throat and preferred with the aircon switched off during my sleep. The suite has a fridge to store your drinks etc. A water cooker and tea/coffee was provided for as well. The living room had nice seating. Both rooms had a large flatscreen TV with good receiving channels. ✈ Bathroom: Large. Enough towels on check-in. Towels were replaced daily, but not always stocked up back to the original amounts. Before the evening falls, staff would check the rooms and exchange again towels if needed/requested. Top service! Soap/Shampoo is provided but lacks quality in my opinion. Some room for improvement here maybe. The bathroom was very functional despite of older design. Totally acceptable for me! ✈ Breakfast: I was impressed. The breakfast buffet is very well spread with choices for everyone. Especially a shout-out to a staff named Mugni. He was around in the morning and made sure I felt comfortable with my table and he talked with me about my stay. Since I was a traveler on my own, this was very nice to talk with him and his English language level was at good standard! I loved the desserts and also good quality coffee. This is very important for me, and here I was very satisfied. ✈ Pool/Beach: Beach is said to be a private beach. This is also stated on the website. But, somedays, backpacker people laid down a beach towel right in in front of the sunbeds and enjoyed the clean beach of this hotel. Hotel security staff did not act to them in these situations, which was disappointing to notice. I feel about my security/safety of my belonging when taking a dip in the pool/sea when non-guests are so easily accepted to be around the property (improvement needed here!). The sea is deep quickly but usually calm. No good for snorkeling in case you wondered. Swimming is perfect though! On the other side, the large pool is wonderful (!). Beautiful design and in a lush garden. Again here, Mugni was around to care for the pool-service with towels and sunbeds, and he took great care for me to find the best spot to find a quiet moment in the sun! ✈ Spa Clean and relaxing Spa service available. Very friendly staff. Take note, on some days a promotion is running during breakfast with reduced rates for that day. There are some very nice treatments on offer. ✈ Others: Small minimarket/supermarket on the property near the reception with basic items for honest prices. Also a small gym is available, I didn't use it. In front of the reception is a wonderful small garden with orchids in several colors. ✈ Area: Opposite the street is a coffeebar/bakery shop named "Gula Gila". Go there for lovely cake! Promo: over 100k Rp spending earn a free piece of cake (can take-away). It is a local bakery shop and please support them when you are around, the cakes are wonderful (especially the Red Velvet!) ✈ Conclusion: wonderful hotel. A bit dated but still very nice, especially the staff means a lot to me. Please attention to Yuni at the reception, she was so friendly, great in her English, very service minded and thinking for the customer (me). And Mugni, that guy was really caring whenever you came across with him around the hotel. Always asking how you are and if he was able to provide assistance.
This hotel actually too old and need maintenance in interior specially in wall and bathroom. Have good balcony and so calm there. Food is best here, but some menu sometimes unavailable. Pool of sheraton always big and nice decor and connecting with beach and bar so nice. Spa is good too but maybe need more treatment and staff, sometimes full booked
Arrived at Sheraton Senggigi, for the first time, to celebrate our anniversary. We were greeted by warm and friendly staff. Welcoming drinks served at the lobby and in room. Room was delightully decorated to celebrate our anniversary. Special thanks to Ms Dinda. In the afternoon, visited Senja Launge and Dine Restaurant in the hotel grounds. Had a wonderful time interacting with their friendly staff. Food was great with wonderful ambience at the beach front. A romantic dinner was arranged later in the night for us, followed by desert in our room. Special thanks to Ms Ayu D and Mr Herman. Had another delightful surprise during breakfast. Staff celebrated my wife's birthday with cake and birthday song. Thanks to all the staff and management that made it happened. Special thanks to Ms Asri. The hospitality which Sheraton Senggigi showed, surpassed any hotel or resort I've ever visited. Thank you for making our stay a truly memorable one.
