I travelled to Lombok on my own for 8 nights over the New Years period. Overall I was happy with the experience. I arranged my airport transfer through the hotel in both directions, Tan was my driver. He was very friendly and helpful and put me in touch with his friend, to arrange my scuba diving. I stayed in a ground floor room in block 5, overlooking the garden, through to the beach. As a lot of the other reviews mention, the resort is old and rooms dated. I agree, but can confirm the aircon worked well, bed was comfy, shower had good pressure and the outdoor decking was spacious. In terms of food - breakfast was great, lots of variety, very friendly staff. I had lunch twice in the restaurant and found it expensive, for what you got. I ate at the local restaurants along the beach most nights, which were very close, much cheaper and good quality. The pool area was very nice, lots of sun beds and umbrellas. The pool is well maintained and clean towels are provided at the pool counter. I found the area in general very quiet, so no queues or crowds anywhere. The hotel is located close to the art markets, atm about a 5 minute walk away at the supermarket.
We spent our holiday at this resort and this place really blew my mind away! We were so impressed that we intend to come back here again! The room was fantastic with a good seaview (the staff helped us made this arrangement) and the staffs were all very friendly. They can even remember our names and greeted us every morning during breakfast. The beach and pool were fantastic as well, and we basically spent most of our time lazing at the beach and pool, enjoying special-priced cocktails (we love the 1-for-1 cocktails!). The resort is conveniently located and is within walking distance to many shops and eateries. Special mention to a very friendly restaurant staff named Hartono. He always served us with a smile and we enjoyed chatting with him. And what amazed us was, he can also play the piano very well! Very talented man! This is one of the best resorts I have ever stayed and I strongly recommend all of you to book your holiday here! You will not regret it!
We spent a week at here in December and while the rooms are a little 'tired', the quality of interactions with the staff more than make up for this. We had such a fabulous time here that we had re-booked for this December before we'd even checked out. Special mention to the Senja Lounge staff. We booked a romantic dinner for our wedding anniversary - private table, candles, flower petals, steak, lobster. Simply amazing and really reasonably priced. We highly recommend this experience. We can't speak highly enough of the staff here - everyone always tried to connect with us. Management needs to be commended!
Just wanted to share our great experience with staying at this Sheraton hotel. The hotel is beautiful and very well maintained. Our room was very nice, territory is very green and tropical, pool area is lovely and the beach is very relaxing. Breakfast selection was huge with local dishes, fresh juices and great desserts. Muciris Alli was welcoming us every morning for breakfast and Horthono was playing piano live with our favourite songs, he is very talented. We attended the Gala dinner for the New Year's Eve and the selection was fantastic with food from different countries, we enjoyed all the decorations and the live music. The celebration continued on the beach with the fire dances and the big fireworks. It was truly amazing. We wanted to wear traditional local hats for dinner and one of the managers Ayu was so helpful that she went and specially bought them for us. She always went extra mile to assist us and to provide great memorable experience. We also visited Senja restaurant daily with beautiful sunset view. Food was always of highest standard and selection was fantastic. There are number of local cafes next to the hotel on the beach, however we enjoyed our dining experience at Senja so much that we always preferred to eat there and the prices were very reasonable. Staff was very attentive to us, especially Arsana, who always provided great service. Hotel treats their SPG members with a very special care and Asri from SPG desk was very helpful with our requests. We also visited the beach Spa and had Balinese massage with Mugni and can highly recommend him to everybody. Massage was very relaxing and service was very good. The final highlight of our stay was a special candlelight Paradise dinner on the beach, this was a truly unique romantic experience recommended for all couples visiting. Ayu and Dwiky provided very attentive service and the chef prepared 5 star level delicious food with several courses to follow with steak and lobsters. This whole stay was a wonderful experience and we felt very welcomed by all the staff of the hotel. We always stayed in Bali before, but here is so much more quite and relaxing with a personalised service provided. Really looking forward to come back again soon to this beautiful island and Sheraton Senggigi.
The staff at the Sheraton was amazing. We loved the restaurant staff, and the management. Hartono, our pianist/waiter played beautifully. Rooms were decent, although ours was a bit far from the front. Swimming pool with poolside bar was great. Happy hour had plenty of food. Breakfast was plentiful and good and we spent many happy hours there. Dive shop (to arrange dives) was convenient, although the boat was around 30mins away. The turtle sanctuary was a nice touch and everyone enjoyed releasing the baby turtles. Many restaurants were within walking distance and the hotel was quite centrally located in Sengigi. Some restaurants were more easily accessed via the beach. One thing to note is that not only is the Lombok fare excellent in many neighbouring restaurants, the pizza is absolutely great (rivals best pizza in London, although perhaps not Napoli!). Most importantly, at the Sheraton, the staff was particularly good with my children and my daughter was given the chance to perform piano at breakfast (to applause and a tip!). This is definitely a hotel we will go back to.
the location of the hotel is not the most ideal for those who want to hang around the city; it's an hour from the airport, 20 minutes from anywhere touristy Convenient stores, a couple of decent restaurants and massages are nearby. The hotel is right-by the beach, rooms (though dated) are good size, supersized swimming pool with a slide! In short, this is a great place for a family visit. only disappointment was their breakfast, though decent, it lacks variety and could do a little more flare. For me, the breakfast got bored by the second day.
The hotel in general offers good facilities, large pool area, beach front, spa, gym, sauna & steam rooms, bars and several restaurants. The main areas of the hotel seem to kept fairly up to date but are slightly warn. The rooms could do with a makeover and made a little brighter. We were in a deluxe room but there was nothing deluxe about the room (Size, dector, location) really. We were in a sea facing room and could just make the sea/beachfront view looking between the trees.. I tried the spa and that was very good and professional. The breakfasts were very good and offered a wide range of breakfast foods for all tastes. The staff were generally very friendly and aimed to please where they could offer help but when you asked them a request something out of the box they were a little UMMMM not sure and would just walk off not doing anything which left us a little frustrated at times... Concierge did arrange a day tour for us which was very enjoyable. I didn't feel I got value for money considering the brand we were paying for....
Stayed here with my wife and 2 children for New Years holiday. Firstly, the staff are outstanding....extremely friendly and great the kids. My youngest turned 8 whilst here and they all sang and wished her a happy birthday and the house keeper decorated her room with balloons which was awesome. The location is great, a 2 minute walk to a local market and the beach is right outside. Grounds are lovely and the pool is amazing for kids with a slide and plentu to do. The downside is that the roons are very dated, and in need of an uograde.....aircon is poor and the wardrobe doors in both our rooms fell off their rails constantly. Also our balcony door did not lock properly. My wife and i had massages, which whislt expensive by Indonesian standards, where fantastic - i feel asleep during mine which i never do. The food at the various resturants was also very good and there is a small, but expensive shop on site for items such as sunblock (IDR300k) and knick knacks. All in all I would rate the staff 5/5, location 5/5, the grounds and pool 4/5 and the room 2/5
My stay at the Sheraton was great. It's a beautiful resort with a nice, big pool. Beautiful ocean views & a really good central area with markets & restaurants nearby. However, I do have to say that the room service food was very disappointing. Not only did they completely mess up the order - the food quality was terrible.. our feta cheese was even rotten & they still made us pay for the food. That being said - stick to the local restaurants! But other than that everything was great. Their breakfast buffet is huge & very tasty as well!
Stayed here for 3 nights, friendly staff, variety of breakfast, Enjoy the beach & pool. But when I order the food from the Restaurant after I paid the bill, then another waiter came n bring me the bill with same food n drink that I ordered but different price (cheaper)?? funny!
