Rizzi Aquacharme Hotel & Spa4.0 out of 5.0

Only two lifts and both broke down simultaneously on our last morning. Poor selection of food at breakfast; tea and coffee were served in the most inefficient way imaginable, even though there were only one or two staff waiting the tables. Dinner was very good, however. The standard of room cleaning seemed inadequate - there was dust on some surfaces and the tea/coffee and toiletries were sometimes not replenished. Also many mosquitos/midges around in the corridors and rooms. Bar staff seemed inexperienced. Did not use the spa but 20 euros just to use the pool seems excessive.
The rooms in the hotel are quite small but clean and comfortable. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Only stayed one night but ate in the restaurant for dinner and breakfast and the meals were good. Beautiful area and pretty quiet
Kind staff and good location it you would like to visit the Boario Thermal Baths. The rooms shall be renovated as this can not be qualified as 4 stars hotel. The breakfast definitely needs to offer an espresso from a professional espresso machine.
We stayed here on a trip for work and it was booked by locals. It is a little dated inside with the elevator/lift not working correctly, and the hallways are dark and ugly looking; however, I liked the room quite a bit. It is bizarre to charge 20 euro to enter the jacuzzi area, but give the room rate it is understandable. I also received a 30 minute massage and it was inexpensive and fantastic!
stayed at the rizzi aquacharme recently with business colleagues. Location was convenient for our business travels. The area is stunning as you travel through the mountains! Hotel was bright and clean and central in the town. We did not use any spa facilities but they looked nice. Front desk was very friendly. Breakfast included in the morning was ok. Staying here again soon.
Simply avoid. We arrived at 10 pm at night and left by 11am the next day. The pictures you see on the website are not representative of what you get. Now I understand why the ratings were much lower than anticipated. I chose this hotel on the basis that it looked more luxurious than the other alternatives for a stopover night. 1. The hotel is dated. They have refurbished the reception area-still not spectacular but looks modern. Once you go beyond the reception, the corridors are dingy, worn with stained carpets. So are the rooms and bathrooms. There are broken shades and there are signs of damp too. See photos. 2. We had a drainage smell in our bathroom- unbearable. Room 509. Pity cannot convey over for record purposes. 3. You have to pay 20 euros per person to enter the jacuzzi area, even though you are staying at the hotel. Children are not allowed. 4. We came in February. The quilts given were suitable for a breezy summer evening not winter. See photo. We were tired as we arrived at 10 pm at night. We don't expect to have to complain to a 4 star hotel to provide appropriate bedding in the middle of the night. We were exhausted and we needed a good rest before our next day long journey. 5. The Wifi service, although free, exasperates you and you end up not using it ultimately. Apart from being very slow, you have to input a 10 number digit as a username and then another 10 digits for password. Even if you remain in the room and not use the service for a few hours you have to re-enter it again. Also you are handed a different code for each device you use. So for an iPad, laptop and 2 phones you need in total 8 10-digit codes to be able to use. This is a hotel, not MI5! 6. Parking was not easy either. They give you the impression that there are plenty of spaces around the hotel. We had to go round several times to find a slot- a good 30-40 minutes wasted. 7. Breakfast was standard with some ham, cold eggs, cheese and sweet options. It is continental breakfast. However the service was poor and after half an hour, we had to fetch the waitress to get us coffee. By that time we had finished all our food. Some of the bread and cakes were also dry. The request for Nutella condiment never arrived and we had to leave by then. There were 2 waitresses serving 40 guests at one time-totally understaffed and inefficient. 8. Price was far from value. £95 inclusive breakfast. In the same town there are alternatives at £60 per night of less or similar standard-some even across the road from this hotel. The reviews are better too. 9. This hotel is given a 4 star rating but it is truly a decadent 3 star. 10. I complained to the hotel who charged me the full amount of 127 Euros and do not accept liability. They blamed me for booking a classic room. They said that they cannot put pictures of each room on their website. For a 4 star you don't expect foul smell in a bathroom, wrong bedding and worn damp environment. 11. I am forward my complaint to the Internet company that I booked with, requesting them to look into the matter and remove them from their Accomodation option. This is misrepresentation of what I booked for, particularly to the standard of the bathroom. Because of the nasty smell I did not have a shower either! I repeat at £95 a night this is far from value. Just simply avoid. It is obvious that they don't value your custom either.
very nice hotel close to the SPA Boario Terme. perfect location to enjoy the SPA, thermal bath, jacuzzi, pools and more. from here you can visit Lago d'Iseo, a beautiful lake surrounded by mountains. staff is very helpful, rooms are spacious and quiet.
A nice and comfortable hotel with a very good spa (pool, turkish bath, sauna...). It's placed in the middle of Boario with several restaurants in the neighborhood. I stayed there with my wife for a long week-end spending time reading, relaxing at the spa and visiting Lago Moro (very, very nice landscape) and the prehistoric graffiti (rock drawings) for which Val Camonica is famous. The only drawback was 1 night when a teenager basket team was hosted in the rooms in front of our one.... not really a quite evening. I've suggested to the hotel manager to avoid this type of things or, at least, prevent the other guests. We were there to relax, not to test our patience! The personnel at the reception really kind and helpful, while the atmosphere at breakfast was more serious and in some case we observed a bit of strain among the waiters. In the end it was a positive and relaxing experience.
What a wonderful hotel with spa facilities and rooftop jacuzzi. Rooms spacious and modern, some with balconies. Friendly staff and located in a central location. Would definitely return for longer next time.
We have stayed here twice in the last 3 years and it is visually very nice with an attractive front entrance and lobby area. The bathroom was modern and excellent. The parking charge is reasonable with easy in and out privileges. The breakfast self serve buffet is wonderful and with great variety and high quality. On our recent stay the restaurant was mediocre although previously pretty good. On both our visits the staff had great difficulty in controlling the A/C which, in early September, was a real problem. Also, the in-room WIFI was unreliable and we had to use the lobby.
