Ideal place for us to stop for 2 nights during our recent Europa League visit to St Etienne. Nothing negative to say about this accommodation - Good-size room situated at back of hotel, comfy bed, spotlessly clean throughout the building and handy well-equipped kitchenette. Hotel staff incredibly friendly and proficient in Englsh and good knowledge of local area. Would definitely recommend. Breakfast is extra if you want it. Great place in safe location within easy reach of bars, shops and local restaurants. Would return if ever in that area again.
Very clean, spacious and central. Every bit of space used to its best advantage and one apartment comfortably fitted and catered for us and our four children for an overnight stay. Best bit was that it has laundry facilities, which on a big road trip were hugely welcome!
Clean, quiet and convenient. Smart furnishings with plenty of room to prepare food. For the price, an excellent solution for our needs. Skip the breakfast, far too expensive and with lots of tempting treats on the doorstep. Towels and pillows could be improved but on the whole, we were happy.
Room was very big and surprisingly clean. Bathroom was not bad either. Unfortunately pillows on the bed were very firm and uncomfortable. WiFi was really slow, only for web browsing. It was possible to pay extra (2eur for 2h) for better speed but it seems to be rather unfair these days. Good thing about the hotel was it's central location in St Etienne - close to local restaurants etc.
The hotel is very "unFrench". The rooms are large and above the H&M department store. At reception, it was a little hard to check-in as the receptionist spoke very little English. Parking is not available but in a parking garage several blocks away. The biggest disappointment was the smoke smell in the rooms. Opening the windows helped but the light runs right below the window. When closed the noise level is low. Nowhere open to get rid if the smoke, it was loud. The kitchen looked good but we did not use it.
We really enjoyed overnight stay, the apartment was spacious and well equipped. The receptionist was really helpful and efficient. Extensive continental Breakfast was available for an additional 11 Euro with fresh bread and proper coffee.
What a great apparthotel. Compact, clean, everything you need. Reception is friendly, helpfull and they speak their languages. Right in the middle of the city centre of St. Etienne, not far away from the central railway station. I've been there twice. Twice great!
Good hotel, remodelate building, confortable, big room, staff friendly, private parking close the hotel and very cheap (5,8 euros per 24 hours), good location, near the town centre, breakfest expensive.
Beautifully appointed conversion of old building in heart of city, very smart & stylish. No noise from trams outside. City was very quiet, possibly because it was July. Staff could not be more helpful. No car parking outside but large car parks nearly. Outdoor ones free at night but must not park in red box, if there is a market the next day!
Picture a hotel with massive rooms, almost brand new, with more amenities than i've seen in a long time (sink, fridge, microwave, cooktop, wiFi, business centre destop access), all for a price on the low end of average. Did I mention the huge, but Spartan decoration of the rooms? This hotel felt like an airport hotel in North America -- except that it was well-located in a decent part of Saint-Etienne's downtown. I was just there for one night, but quite happy with the choice.
