Our family had a wonderful spring break at this secluded farmhouse. Tucked away among hills and woods, the winding pathway to the house adds a charming "hidden gem" feel that we loved immediately. What We Loved:• Design & Comfort: The architecture is beautiful, using solid wood and rustic textures. The furniture is high-quality; specifically, the high-back couches were incredibly comfortable and supportive.• The Kids' Loft: The children’s bedroom was a highlight! They loved using the ladder to reach the second-level balcony area. Even with our eldest on the floor in a sleeping bag, they had a blast.• Outdoor Living: The wide, covered patios and private hot tub area are exceptional. We enjoyed the two fireplaces—one in the living room and another on the patio, where we gathered around the six-person table for family board games.• Serene Atmosphere: The front porch rocking chairs were perfect for sipping tea and listening to the woods while the kids played nearby, gathering sticks for the fire pits.Notes for Improvement:The stay was nearly perfect, though a few maintenance details need attention: the shower curtain is molding at the bottom, some light bulbs are out (one lamp flickers), the loft was dusty under the beds, and the blinds are cracking.Final Thoughts:Our daughter left a sweet testimonial and drawings in the kitchen guest book to show our appreciation. We’d love to return for a longer four-day stay next time! Highly recommended for a quiet family retreat
