Nice getaway

This cabin is SO cute and I greatly enjoyed my stay. I was able to make nice meals in the kitchen and enjoy time outside. The host is very responsive and helped get my car started when it was extremely cold the day we left. I plan to come again!

Rustic peace and quiet

My wife and I have stayed at this VRBO before. The one room log cabin is well equipped with all the basics you need, clean, and cozy. Perfect for 2 people looking to get away from life's hustle and bustle. Daniel is a communicative and helpful host. A pleasure to deal with. We'll go back again .

Cute cabin

Great spot for peace and quiet. I wasn’t able to take advantage of all the lovely amenities as I was in the area for work and shirt on time. But hope to do so next time. Thank you to the host for an easy check-in process and instructions at the property.

Amazing Cabin for a Winter Retreat

I was looking for a place to be by myself and relax. This is slightly off the beaten track and if you want to see stars at night, have peace and quiet yet still have connectivity this is the place. I was happily greeted by the host and answered the questions I had. I hope to return back again next winter for another retreat.

Cozy Cabin

Nice cabin with all the creature comforts of home. Kitchen area is great for cooking. With a clean electric stove and oven. I will stay there again. I highly Recommend this for anyone whom appreciates the out doors.

Perfect location

So quiet, River was Amazing for pup plays, cabin is unreal, heated floors were a huge bonus!! Used this place for a central stay while I explored the Public Use Lands to the west. Will definitely come again!! Thank you guys so much !!

I really enjoyed my stay at this log cabin. The cabin itself is very well equipped in terms of the various amenities. The bed is very comfortable, and everything was very clean. I'm someone that really enjoys a campfire, and the little grove where the firepit is located is perfect. 13/10, would rent again.

Charming Cabin & Relaxing surroundings

This was one of the best equipped cabins my Partner and I have stayed in. Beautiful river & walking trails. Super quiet and peaceful. Owners were very kind and open to clear communication. I will be back. Thank you.

Excellent, Clean place to stay

Wendy is a kind, friendly host who makes your needs priority. The cabin was clean, warm and welcoming. We loved the peaceful surroundings and lovely golden retriever, Charlie😉 would highly recommend staying at this place!

Cozy and quiet

My husband and I along with our dog wanted a place away from the hustle and bustle of Calgary for a few night. It was a bit hot in the cabin but the cabin came with one fan and we brought two more from home so wasn’t too bad. Nice trails through the woods which our dog loved and there was a nice river to wade in to cool down in.

Exactly what we were looking for!

We were looking for an elevated camping experience. We are done with sleeping in a tent and want to be able to shower all the bug spray off at the end of the night. This had everything we could need and the property as BEAUTIFUL especially the private river beach. Our only feedback would be a screen door on the cabin so we can have the door open in the morning and evening.

Beautiful place to disconnect

I don't usually write reviews, but this stay was too nice not to share. A clean, well-maintained log cabin in lovely surroundings. Beautiful river walk. I had a lovely stay and truly felt like I got away from my busy life for a few days.

Was just ok for us

The property owner is very friendly, and was quite considerate of our privacy. The grounds around the cabin could have used a little upkeep. The walk to the river was groomed and it was a short pretty walk. We spent a whole afternoon lounging in the water, very peaceful. The cabin itself was ok. We felt a little like we were intruding. Lots of signs up everywhere of things we weren't allowed to do or touch. Wifi existed on site but no password provided. Wood burning stove but not allowed to use it. Food in the pantry with another sign to not touch (not that we would have), but we felt a little awkward. Beautiful claw foot tub but its been elevated several inches off the floor. I am only 5 feet tall so this was not an easy climb in or out when wet. I wouldn't think this would work for someone with mobility or range of motion issues. All in all it was ok, but i have stayed at many of these types of accommodations, this one was on the high side as far as cost. Bang for buck, i wouldn't recommend.

Perfect cabin

Really nice cabin, small but comfortable. It has everything you need for your stay. Private location, very close to river. We spend most of our time by the river or by the fire pit. Big plus is close location to Calgary (less than 2 hours drive).

Quiet getaway

We were looking for a quiet weekend getaway. We saw that there was no internet or t.v. either. This worked well for our needs. Nice walk down to the river and a campfire pit just for us. Have already recommended this location to our friends.

A peaceful and tranquil escape

Daniel was a wonderful host with a peaceful and private setting, and a perfect little escape from the busyness of d2d life. Just as advertised, clean and tidy, exactly as expected. Really enjoyed walking the trail to sit by the river and listen to the water flow and the birds chirp. We were greeted by Daniel shortly after our arrival with a few pleasantries and overview of some house rules, then left to enjoy the space on our own before catching us just before we headed out on check out day. Lovely place, would definitely go back, and highly recommended.
