I booked this place bc it looked cute in the pics, was cheaper than a lot of similar places, and was close enough to our family that we were visiting. However, the stay was disappointing to say the least. I didn’t realize that a room and bathroom were in the basement. The basement smelled musty and the toilet didn’t work. The bathroom also needs to be improved. The bedroom downstairs seemed fine. I reached out several times to the host and he didn’t respond. I called the next day and left a message and he called regarding the issues and he got back to me the

The amount of rooms were perfect. However it did not list there was an apartment upstairs and we would hear running back and forth all day. The house was cleaned up but not clean. Very minimal stuff to use in kitchen. One cupboard door fell off when we got there. There wasn’t even a coffee cup only drinking glasses. Only two air conditioners and not central air so it was very warm in the bedrooms. Over all disappointed with the property. The owner only responded a couple times. But took him a while to respond.

Reasonably Priced

For starters, the home was presented nicely. The owner was very friendly and responded pretty fast. Upon arrival, the check-in process was easy. The home was clean, however there were a few issues. The house didn't have any heat and while we were sleeping someone came and fixed the heat. Also, there was no toliet paper, towels or rags for 8 ppl and no body wash, shampoo or conditioner in the bathrooms. After informing the owner he had towels and rags and toliet paper delivered the next day. On our last night we decided to make a pizza and the oven stopped working. So therefore, we couldnt enjoy our food. The location of this property is great! It has walkable stores and the neighborhood is quiet and safe. Overall this home is budget friendly however I would not stay here again.

Great place to stay

The place was a great base for us when we visited family in NJ and NY. Super clean, very comfortable beds, and easy parking and check in. One bedroom and bathroom are in the basement, in case anyone in your party is mobility limited. The upstairs neighbors do make a little normal noise, sometimes later at night, so maybe bring earplugs if you are a very light sleeper.
