## Emplacement
Locmariaquer, a quiet little seaside town and former fishing village, is one of the gems to be discovered just 30 kilometers from Vannes. World-famous for its archaeological site, this commune on a peninsula at the crossroads of the Gulf of Morbihan and Quiberon Bay offers a certain gentle way of life. You can explore it on foot or by bike, spend the day visiting the megaliths in the morning, laze on the beach in the afternoon and dine on the harbour in the evening. Or you can spend the week in a pretty house with blue shutters and hydrangeas, and explore the region.
