The Beach House - Loch Sport

The beach house is a 2 storey holiday home. Perfect for a family or 2 being able to sleep 10 people comfortably with 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and a large lock up garage. Ideal location being a 2 minute walk to Lake Victoria and a 3-4 minute drive to 90 Mile Beach. Fantastic views of Lake Victoria are seen from both the expansive deck / kitchen meals area and the main bedroom.

Upstairs

There are 2 queen sized bedrooms each with queen sized beds, both with built in robes. The main bedroom has views over Lake Victoria, 49 inch TV, dvd/blu ray player and direct access to the decking. The spacious living area is open plan with a 55 inch SMART TV, DVD player. Internet is also now available to the property. Stacker doors fully open up onto the expansive deck which includes a brand new 4 burner hooded gas BBQ, with outdoor table setting and large outdoor lounge all perfect to sit back and relax all with wonderful views. The modern kitchen is fully self-contained with a dishwasher. The bathroom has both shower and bath facilities. There is a separate toilet with hand basin. All queen bedrooms and living areas have ceiling fans. The living room also has a split system air conditioning / heating unit. A coonara is a great addition to the living room.

Downstairs

There are 2 bedrooms, the 3rd bedroom has a queen sized bed with built in robes now with movable heater for winter and a fan for summer, the 4th bedroom is for the kids - 2 x bunks (4 single beds) with built in robes - this room also has Lake Victoria views. Opposite the kids bedroom is the games/books walk in cupboard,there are novels for the adults, reading books for the kids and stacks of dvds for both the kids and adults -there are activity books for the kids and games to play. There is a Separate bathroom with shower facilities. The laundry is complete with washing machine. There is also internal access to the garage. The passage way leading to the front door opens up to the downstairs deck which also has a wooden outdoor table setting and a small table with 2 chairs to also take in the views


Doonas/covers and pillow/cases are all provided. All you require is to supply your own sheets, towels and tea towels.


Lots of Adult / Kids Bikes and a toddlers bike, skate board and scooter, surf & boogie boards are available to use at own risk. A table tennis table with accessories to keep the kids (or adults) entertained. There is also a canoe for use located in the garage.

Pets are fine but just not inside the house

Brilliant place, house was close to a beach and lake. House was as the pictures showed and there were sufficient toiletries to more than last our stay. The constant noise of the water filter pump took some getting used to but otherwise was a very quiet and relaxing atmosphere. The staff at the food works were lovely but if you need more than they have on offer it’s quite a trek to Sale. The host responded always in a timely and very pleasant manner. We really enjoyed our stay

Great place for families of 4 or more

The place is as described. Large and spacious, has some views too although blocked partially by other houses at the front it still has a nice view. We saw lots of kangaroos around here. No wi-fi so kids were a little dissapointed here. There was some leaking or other issue where we wanted to eat outside at verandah, the table was flooded on both days and the other seating was a little low. Please check what is going on there as we didnt know there was water there (hard to make out on that table) and placed paper we reading on it only to find it was soaked! Price was a little high considering no soap, no sheets, table tennis room had lots of spiders and was dusty,needs some housework, could be bit unsafe for littlies.who get in the garage. Loads of videos and board games which was great.Also very thoughfully stocked with heaps of utensils and cooking items, and also hair straigntener which was wonderful as I had forgotten to take mine. Would recommend, good location too close to everything.

Perfect for our family holiday

Relaxing weekend away

We really enjoyed our long weekend stay at Leanne and Glenn's house. Everything was sparkling clean. Kitchen had everything we needed to prepare all meals at home utensils-wise. The house was very comfortable - beds, large sofa inside, lounge outdoors, etc. No issues with 4 adults and 6 children sharing the space. Town is a short, enjoyable walk away. Best to shop at closest Coles before arrival as there is only an IGA in town. Thanks for a fantastic stay!

the accomodation met our needs for all the the family members involved save my wife who uses crutches.the stairs were a challenge.We were fortunate to get this property and another for the exact same time to accomodate the 16 members of the family.All went reasonably well

We returned for a second year and couldn’t be happier!! The house is comfortable with all the homely features you’d need. Just a short stroll to some of the best beaches in town. An easy walk into the Marina and town. Peaceful and quiet of a night time. Would highly recommend this home to anyone.

Worth every penny!
