Nestled along the banks of the spring-fed Llano River we provide 4 cabins that serve as the perfect get-a-way from the hustle and bustle of city life, or home base to explore the outdoors. This booking is for the larger 2 cabins connected by a breezeway with views of the Llano River.
Located across the street from the charming Castell General Store where you can enjoy cold beers and one of the best burgers in Texas!
River swims, area hikes, fly fishing, hunting for topaz, allanite, quartz, exploring Castell town square await!
If you are looking for a quiet remote place to get away, this is the place! Bring your bikes, kayaks (or you can rent ours!), fly rods/fishing poles and relax + enjoy. We are located across the street from the Castell General Store so make sure you drop into and get yourself a cold beer and 3/4 lb burger (Best Burger in Texas, promise!). They jokingly call it "Luckenbach by the Llano River" according to an article written by Texas Monthly...so come for a few days or longer and really decompress, relax and breathe in the beautiful Texas Hill Country air or watch shooting stars streak across the sky.
With this booking, you will have access to the entire 3-acre property on the Llano River which includes our beautiful Llano River waterfront.
Don't forget to rent Kayaks or Bikes for the entirety of your stay!

Perfect weekend get away
We just had a wonderful weekend stay at the El Castell Cabins with our close friends. The location was great - we had big plans to go into Mason, but the cabins were so great that we never left except to walk across the street to the Castell General Store for dinner & drinks. The cabins were clean, comfortable and had all the necessities plus extras (games, yoga mats, etc). But honestly we spent 99% of our time on the beautiful breezeway connecting cabins D and C - it was a hot weekend but the breeze (and ceiling fans) made it very comfortable. It was perfect for us (two couples and two kiddos) but could easily fit more guests (three couples and a bunk room for kids!). We will be back!!

Long weekend we came down for the crawfish open
Long weekend we came down for the crawfish open, Play golf in Kingsland and Burnet followed up with Crawfish golf tournament in Llano on Saturday convenient to the pavilion for night time entertainment at the Llano River and nobody can be being right across the street from the Castell general store a great time was had by all

Amazing Experience
We had to reschedule due to the freezing weather last month, and we had the option to cancel. I am extremely glad we did not cancel, and got to experience this place. It was quite amazing, and everybody there loved it. The communication with the host was very fast, and everything we needed was already there. Will stay here again ! A+++
