Nice stay in Ljubljana

Comfortable but small room. No lift so had to carry suitcases up a few floors. Great position. Safe, easy to walk city, close to restaurants and bars.

It's a small, atmospheric hotel, tastefully furnished with antiques in the common parts. It is the old part of town, conveniently placed for restaurants, shopping, sightseeing & the castle. They serve a very nice breakfast in the hotel.Rooms are clean and my bed was comfortable. The only drawback is that there is no lift in the hotel. You have to climb stairs

Charming small hotel on a pedestrian street in the Old Town, with very friendly and efficient staff. Very good buffet breakfast where you can also have eggs cooked to order. My only quibbles are that the stairs are kind of tricky, with railings that aren't continuous, and the shower really needed some kind of nonstick mat.

The Allegro Hotel is a charming property full of character. Staff are friendly and helpful. There is no lift. The location is excellent, on the edge of the Old Town in a pedestrian area close to the Ljubljanica river. Nearby streets are full of interesting shops and places to eat.

The staff was kind and friendly and the breakfast was delicious. The location could not be beat! However, the hotel is tired and the room had that smell of mildew. Also, the shampoo and soap in the bathroom were not great. But again, the people and location made our stay still a good one.

The staff at the hotel is really quite special. Thomas, Luca and Noura were welcoming, kind, knowledgeable and very friendly. All of their recommendations were fabulous and they made my brief time in Ljubljana memorable and enjoyable. I can’t speak highly enough of my stay here.

The location is perfect

The location is superb, right at the edge of the old town so not as noisy as a place right smack dab in the middle of everything but only a 3 minute walk to be right in the middle of everything. The staff are amazingly helpful, I had a medical issue and one of the staff members went really beyond the call of duty to help me find a medical provider.

This is a quaint hotel with lots of character. It’s old but it’s in the historic part so of course. The staff were excellent and very friendly. The breakfast was good and accompanied my gluten allergy. Just off the river lots of restaurants and shops. Parking is only 8 minute walk but there is a shuttle. No elevator so need to walk up stairs but they helped me with the luggage 😃
