Lovely modern room

We had a lovely stay at The Stamford, the room was well furnished, modern, clean with a very comfy big bed. It is in a great location and self check in was simple to follow.

Shared lounge and kitchen a huge bonus

Rooms very ckean and comfortable and the communal lounge and kitchen was a huge bonus especially as I was on a business trip .

Beautiful place felt really comfortable there the place is spotless has a lovely atmosphere close to everything there is knowone on site but easy check in and the communication with sarah is excellent will definitely stay there again if we come to southport

A Great Place To Stay

The guest house was very well organised easy to access and use. The facilities were perfect for what we needed. For a small fee they ever arranged a small birthday hamper on request which was great. Overall it was a great stay and we would stay again. Only one negative which was not really down to the guest house themselves was that they put us in a room next a family with a small child who was screaming quite a bit and for us as parents away for a rest from our own kids it was a dissapointment when being woke early. A suggestion would be to have families with children on the same floor so that it doesnt affect other guests. Dont let those comments take away what was a great place to stay!

The Stamford Southport airshow weekend

Whilst everything is clean tidy and comfortable its a little strange to not see a membee of staff at all for either check in or check out. However, bedroom was a reasonable size with 6' bed, nice bathroom and other furnishings

This was our second stay we cannot fault anything you are given a code to open the main door then you will find your door key in a box.The hotel is so near everything so you never have far to walk.It was my husbands birthday and when we arrived we was greated with a birthday balloon it's the little things that make you feel welcome.The hotel was spotless and and had everything you needed

love the set up - used the lounge and kitchen. beautifully decorated and looked after. We had the kind room as a twin, not much room but didn't need it as used the lounge and kitchen. Ideal location just off main road - Lord Street and Prom. Quiet rooms all seem to be well sound proofed. Would stay again ...
