We booked this hotel as it was near Aintree racecourse, and couldn't fault it at all!! Rooms lovely and clean and modern. Staff all very friendly and very helpful. Beds super comfy and rooms quiet, great nights sleep. All finished off with a lovely breakfast. Will definitely return to Liverpool and to The Park Hotel.x
Stayed there for just one night whilst visiting friends. I have to say that I was a little sceptical about staying here. I used to live in the area and the hotel never looked particularly appealing. I have to say though that the refurb is great. The foyer is light and airy, to rooms where clean and adequately furnished for what we needed. Sleep quality was great though I don't know how much of that was alcohol induced ☺️ Staff were polite and helpful. For the money, overall it was a good value place to spend the night
Went for a birthday meal at the Park hotel yesterday and was really disappointed at the food. We have been going to this hotel for years and were not given the excellent service and food as we have had prior to yesterday. We were a party of 14 and booked the meal for 5pm. We complained some of us couldn't eat the chicken as it was hard and chewey, not moist. Waitress did nothing and didn't even come back to us about the complaint. When we paid the bill, I asked again about the chicken and was told, to go home and send in a complaint to manager as nobody else had complained that day, even though half a dozen of us who had ordered it did there and then. Why couldn't the issue be dealt with at the time?? Spoiled the birthday meal and has made us think twice about going again. The last manager, Lydia, was on the ball with any complaints and couldn't help to resolve matters. Obviously new staff are not up to scratch.
My husband and I stayed in this hotel and couldn't fault it. Nothing is too much trouble for the lovely staff. From the maintenance man to the receptionist and everybody in between were pleasant, cheerful and approachable. The decor is very clean and great to look at. Nowhere was shabby. The restaurant food was freshly cooked and very tasty. Really fabulous hotel, we would stay again.
Just had a 2 night stay at this hotel and we're very impressed. Lovely clean place with very good breakfast. The staff are very friendly and helpful can't do enough for you. I would definitely use this hotel again and would recommend it so get it booked. You will not be disappointed.

(served hot) Events team brilliant nothing is to much trouble for them. I would reccommend this hotel to anyone. Excellent value for money. (Not ripped of on bar prices either) A massive Thank you. Steve
I was down staying with friends and went for a walk, decided I wanted a pint and came across this place. When I asked if they were open to non residents, the receptionist with a smile said "of course, welcome" and pointed me to the bar where I was served by a very nice, professional bar person who poured me a very nice pint. Great experience and lovely people Liverpool has.
Our first impressions were good.We parked easily and the reception was bright and airy. Our room was simple, but clean and had a comfy enough bed.The real surprise was the restaurant. The food was delicious and varied.I had belly of pork with an apricot glaze for my main a member of our party had the sea bass cooked to her specific requirements.I asked for extra vegetables and was very pleased to be served with broccoli and carrots which I had said that I would like in addition to the green beans. It was very quiet when we were there and our waiter was very friendly and attentive. We felt our room was good value and the food was superb for what we paid.We have stayed at the nearby Premier Inn on several occasions and have paid more for very basic food which was not in the same league. The only issue we did have was that my husband was woken by noisy guests- something that happened repeatedly at the Premier Inn so I conclude that this may be a particular problem in Liverpool.I would recommend the restaurant to anyone.
Stayed for 4 nights over Easter for my brothers 50th wedding anniversary. Checked in at 3pm on the Thursday, very quick check in and found room on first floor easily. We had a family room for 2 adults and 2 children, the room was big, airy and clean. Two singles and a double bed, nice bathroom and decor was ok. The hotel has been getting refurbished for a while now and the reception and bar area are very comfortable and modern. We ate in the hotel restaurant on the first night and the food was excellent! The fish cake was really tasty and the portions were generous, in fact the food was such good value, we didn't eat anywhere else over the 4 days we were there. Breakfast was excellent, with plenty of choice and freshly cooked full English along with salmon and bagels, very nice. We had booked a function room for the evening on the Friday for a total of 60 guests, the food that was served was, once again, excellent, served very quickly and efficiently and was well presented and cooked to perfection. All the staff were really friendly and very willing to help when asked any question. We had a great stay at the hotel and the rest of the family that stayed across various nights ( 40 of us) over the Easter weekend also thought the hotel was brilliant. You won't be disappointed if you book this place Martin
