A bad experience

Booked for 4 nights only stayed 1 and lost my money The bedding was dirty, the bin not emptied, the dishwasher and oven broken , the shower low pressure and didn’t get hot, the flat generally grubby. There was no parking despite specifying it. The owner refused to engage with the issues and inferred that I was lying. I have been a Homeaway customer for many years but this has put me off returning as I seem to have no consumer protection against this sort of problem.

Great location

This was in walking distance of everywhere we wanted to go in Liverpool. It was in a student area and felt safe. there was a really good Chinese restaurant close by. There is a secure parking garage a couple blocks away and the daily rate was reasonable. We were able to leave our luggage in the car there so we could do more sight seeing after we checked out. The apartment was cute and had good views. Down side was that we were expecting two bedrooms which is how it's listed. However reading further in the description it says the second bedroom is an air mattress in the living room. But it was comfortable enough. There was no place to unpack our clothes or hang coats.
