Rooms and bathrooms were very clean and well presented. Quiet rooms and surroundings. Free wifi Good value for money pubs (some newly revamped) within short walking distance of the hotel. Or walk 5 minutes more to be in the city centre.

Very well located not far from Lime street and Liverpool one. The hotel is neat and quiet. Reception was quite warm. I will recommend this hotel to anyone for its proximity to shopping malls , Liverpool lime station etc. Ambience of the hotel is serene. A yes any day

This hotel is a true gem, number one choice for Liverpool !! True British hotel with clean and comfortable rooms, and very friendly staff. The hotel is located within 5 minutes walking distance from downtown. There are nearby restaurants, coffee shops and the most famous bookshop in Liverpool, the "Reid of Liverpool" . Tasty breakfast and nice bar, it is an unique experience to stay at Hallmark, and I would totally recommend it !

Best place to live. Cooperative staff, good facilities. Close to main buildings. Easy access. Great variety of breakfast. Service waa also good. Late nighy check in. I'll surely recommend to my friends and family.

I booked the hotel 3 months in advance so thought I would get a good deal, when looking on the website the day of my arrival to find out check in times I see the price of my room is less than half the price I paid!! Not a great start. We then checked in and went to our room. The bed was big and comfy, however it was noisy from the other guests, there was 1 bath towel in a room for 2 adults and the bathroom bin hadn’t been emptied from the previous guests! Cleanliness as a whole wasn’t great. Plus points is the location is ideal for city centre.

Just back from a short stay via a budget deal and very much enjoyed our visit. Our room was on the lower ground floor and was quite small as were the en-suite and shower. Having said that the room was fresh and clean and large enough for us. I don't think that the room size was typical of all rooms in the hotel. The staff were all very friendly and made us feel most welcome. Breakfast offered a good choice of hot and cold dishes. Location is up a hill from the City Centre in the University area with little public transport immediately available. Hotel is located close to the Metropolitan Cathedral and the Philharmonic Hall. It is also convenient for a varied selection of restaurants and pubs, including the Philharmonic Dining Rooms.

Another great stay at the Hallmark, rooms clean and comfortable Staff very friendly, helpful and accomadating, they pulled the stops out to sort out an important trip for us. Lovely breakfast, one of the best I've had at a hotel Well situated so ideal for us

Excellent location for visiting my daughter who is studying at the university. Has a secure car park which is £10 per night. I took my dog Reggie and he was made very welcome and was given a toy and treats by the Manager Megan. Would recommend and will be staying again!

Thoroughly recommend this hotel >Room was spotless , bed very comfy & great blackout curtains ,plenty of room . Bath & shower great . Parking was excellent & very secure . Hotel central to everything and at a great price . Breakfast was beautiful .x

I would like to thank the amazing staff for our 2 night stay. The room was really nice and clean, polite staff and would highly recommend anyone thinking of staying here and definitely staying here again in the near future. Close to the city centre in a quiet area.
