Pros:
Charlotte was a very nice host. The property is conveniently located in a suburban neighborhood where we felt safe entering regardless of the hour. The location was ideal, with lots of food options and entertainment nearby. The ac/heat is very responsive.
Cons:
The property didn’t seem well kept. We came in to less than a quarter roll of toilet paper and bedding that needed to be changed. Charlotte kindly replaced the bedding upon our arrival. The retractable sink nozzle no longer retracts. All of the silverware, cookware and knives are thrown in a backer that sits on a shelf above eye level. When pulling the basket down I was not aware that there were knives loosely laying in the basket and they could have easily fallen on me if I tipped it any further. The baking dishes were dirty and after washing everything, I no longer felt like baking. None of the shaker style cabinets have hardware, so you’ll need to bend down to open them from the bottom. The cabinets also don’t have shelves, so all dishes are unorganized/stacked on top of one another. The shower leaks which leaves the bathroom mats wet, so you’ll want to wear shoes in the bathroom. There isn’t much light on the stone path walkway to the property, so you’ll want to use your phone light to make sure you don’t trip. The internet was spotty which was very inconvenient.
Overall, we wouldn’t stay here again, but it may meet the needs of a small group who plans to spend most of their time outside of the property.
