We stayed here for four nights. On arrival it was apparent an error was made with my booking (thought I'd paid for breakfast when I hadn't). The receptionist was a little 'stale' here and could have been more understanding. Overall the rooms were well proportioned and not small based on other comments here. The room we had, had a balcony, a bonus. The rooms were clean and the bathroom was perfectly adequate. There was a problem with our room on the 3rd day, but thankfully the receptionist there handled the situation well and moved us immediately to another room without any problems. We didn't try the breakfast so couldn't comment on it but did think it's a little pricey at €6 each. We would recommend going around the corner (10 mins away) to the Pingo Doce supermarket as it had lots of essentials including very cheap bottled water (~ €1, 20 for 5.4 litres). Far cheaper than buying in the centre. Pros: 1. Location - right beside Sáo Sebastio station (20 mins direct to airport) 2. 20 mins to the centre of Lisbon by metro 3. Air conditioning worked well in the heat (mid 30's degrees centigrade). 4. Quiet location 5. Fridge in room Cons: 1. No coffee/tea making facilities in rooms 2. Receptionist on arrival couldn't have been a little friendlier Overall would recommend this hotel for a short stay in Lisbon.

This hotel the location would be better..... located in a great upscale neighborhood with metro station by the door. You just have to take the subway from airport and the final destination is exactly in front the hotel. The staff are a bit small, but if you are a traveler like us .....uses the hotel just for sleeping is perfect! One more great point is the price very affordable

I stayed in July 2017, excellent hotel, with great location, close to subway, shopping, bakeries, supermarkets, park. The breakfast is great as well as the service of the entire staff. Highly recommended.

Pros: -location (literally one minute walk to the S.Sebastião station (blue line) that takes you to the main touristic spots like Castle St George etc - stop at Restauradores) - overall the room is clean - extremely helpful staff (I couldn't take the breakfast on the departure day, staff were helpful and make me a breakfast box a day before I left as a small compensation) - good hot water shower Cons: - a bit of stains in the sink area in the toilet - carpets look old and not sure how clean it is , suggest to wear a slippers in the room - no tea and coffee making facilities in the room Other comments: - 20euros deposit required for using the safe box in the room (you can take the money back when you check out) - breakfast is buffet style (cakes, Portuguese tart, fruits, toasts, etc), choices are okay. Won't complain much for a 3* hotel. - the coffee from the coffee machine is okay. The latte from the machine was extremely sweet. I ended up making my own coffee (espresso from the coffee machine + hot milk) -if you plan to use the balcony, try not to get the back rooms which are facing the back of another building

We arrived at 2am due to a delayed flight .We were welcomed and given Our room by a very curtious member of staff. After a comfortable nights sleep in a very nice clean room on the seventh floor we went for breakfast. The display was a credit to the hotel.Fresh fruit different breads cakes cheeses and cooked meats.Having the metro right across the road was a bonus. We pre booked the hop on hop off bus on line with viator for 48 hours which was great. The only niggle we had was the lack of grab rail in the lovely bathroom.Age being against us we had to be very careful when using the shower.Thankyou to all the staff for making our trip an enjoyable one.

My friend and I started our trip to Portugal with a 3 night stay at the Hotel Principe Lisboa. Access from the airport to the Sao Sebastian Metro station - directly across the street from the hotel - could not have been easier. We liked the quiet atmosphere in the neighbourhood combined with easy access to the entire city by Metro and/or Hop On Hop Off tourist bus. Our room was clean and comfortable. There were nice restaurants nearby. Staff were knowledgable and helpful. We would recommend including breakfast in with your room as the buffet was nice and a good start to a busy day of sightseeing. We would recommend this hotel.

Very convenient clean friendly hotel. Staff outstanding always available to help with any questions. Easy to access from Airport - right opposite metro entrance but take note stairs at that entrance no elevator for handling large bags. Special thanks to Ali.

Pros: Location and staff.... and a perfect breakfast !! Location: You can walk to most attractions from this hotel, if your not a walker the metro is out the front. Great Location, you can easily catch the metro straight from the airport to the hotel. The biggest asset to this hotel is the WONDERFUL STAFF our fourth visit and we will be back again. We have tried the hotel a few doors down on the same side as this hotel because the Principe was booked out in one occasion called The Alif ....don't bother.... not a patch on this gem. Thank you Hotel Principe.... five out of five for us !!! Irene & Martin Australia

Great hotel close to 2 metro lines one direct to and from the airport.Staff very helpful with directions..Excellent breakfast included in room rate..Located on a quiet street but close to coffee shops ,restaurants and banks!

It is close to the Red Line metro and that is the only positive point. The room was BASIC. There was NOTHING extra. No tea coffee making facility, no iron, a couple of plastic cups and that is all. We had an apartment in Lisbon for 6 years in Chiado. Recently Portugal jumped in the tourist bandwagon and forgot all about Portuguese hospitality. There is El Corte Engles nearby where you can get decent food and of course Gulbenkian is within walking distance but almost every other building on this street is now a hotel. It should be easy to find a better one for this price.
