Ascend to the upper floor, a converted attic that doubles as a versatile space for remote working or a more private area for older children. The Neighborhood: São João do Estoril is a charming coastal town located just a short drive from Cascais, Portugal. It is known for its beautiful beaches, friendly locals, and relaxed atmosphere. One of the best things about São João do Estoril is its beaches. There are two main beaches in the town: Praia da Poça and Praia da Azarujinha. Praia da Poça is a small, sheltered beach that is perfect for families. Praia da Azarujinha is a more secluded beach that is popular with surfers.
Getting Around: 4 minutes to the beach on foot, 5 minutes to the train station which runs to Cascais in 5 mins or to Lisbon in approx 20-25 mins. You can walk along the beach promenade by accessing the beginning of the path just 5 minutes away as it is alongside the beach. Here you can walk all the way into Cascais in under 30 minutes or Estoril in 13 minutes.
