I stayed here for 2 nights, Though its located across the river from downtown it is a block from the Metro which takes you to Cachilas on the river shore and the ferry drops you in the city centre. Cachilas has numerous restaurants and the ferry is a cool way to downtown. Parking at the hotel is free and covered, the breakfast is solid and the rooms are clean and well appointed. It was about 20 minutes drive (not rush hour) from the airport.

Neither the location nor the building are attractive but there is nothing else wrong with this hotel. Good connection to the local tram. Nice friendly staff. Reasonable rates. Breakfast a bit basic but rooms are good. Fine if you have to be in the area but otherwise not a place to go back to.

The Mercure Lisboa Almada Hotel is located in Almada which is a suburb of Lisbon. To get to Lisbon, take a tram ride to the port followed by a ferry ride to downtown Lisbon. The hotel staff is professional, courteous and very helpful. There is onsite free parking and the wifi signal is strong throughout the hotel. The rooms are very comfortable, have a safe and are cleaned daily. The breakfast was very good and there is a supermarket located next door. Although the hotel was more than adequate for our needs, as a tourist, I would choose a hotel that is more centrally located if I visit Lisbon again in the future.

We have just stayed in this hotel and enjoyed every minute. It is really well placed to visit the city of Lisbon even though it is across the river. Using the mass transport system and ferry means you can be in the city in 30 minutes from leaving the hotel at minimum cost.

A good hotel Clean spacious rooms with in-room coffee Good continental breakfast,Close to mlitonsi of stations comes to the Ferry to downtown Lisbon Quiet and comfortable.Nearest taxi ride and you're a huge Mall Near the hotel is right by modeling supermarket

Overall service is friendly but seems like all the employees in the room service area are new in the job or have no interest. The Restaurant team is not prompt and too slow to get anything on the table. However the food served is of best quality and tasty! Breakfast presentation is weird and food items are kept away so that one has to walk to find the things.

handy hotel to explore Lisbon. near tram direct to ferry short ferry trip into Lisbon. Staff very friendly and helpful. Stayed overnight with early check in and late check out. Free mini bar unfortunately no wine or spirits.

A clean good tidy hotel in almeda over lisboa.its high seoson and we couldnt find a place in lisboa and we got mercur almeda at the last minute.a little far from liboa but everything is ok for a bussiness 4 star hotel.the rooms good and clean with very good bathrooms and good sleep.breakfast is not so much sophisticated but good and acceptable.the concierge and reception people are also very friendly and helpful.i recommend this place a lot if the distance from lisboa is not a problem for you.

Had a great experience at Mercure Lisboa Almada on my first trip to Portugal this month. The staff were excellent as well as the service. The staff were excellent in providing helpful tips and directions which made it super easy for me to get around. Being a solo travel and taking public transit later in the evenings I opted to have dinners at the hotel and was satisfied with the level of service and food! It also provided me an opportunity to get to know the staff which made my stay that much more enjoyable. A bonus was that the hotel is a short, but uphill, walk to Christos Rei, an iconic giant statue, with views of the surrounding area worth taking in. The hotel is located about 45 minutes by public transport (tram, ferry, and metro rides) from Lisbon which wasn't ideal but it was fairly accessible and easy to navigate - much shorter ride by cab if you, like me, were sometimes rushing to catch a tour! Overall the hotel stay made my visit to Portugal that much more enjoyable because of the level of service and friendliness of all the staff. As a solo traveller this meant a lot to me.

Really good hotel in an easy to find spot in Almada. The staff is super nice, the rooms are clean, well insolated and the mattress is amazing. Had a really good sleep. The bathroom is spacious and also very neat.
