I had a lot of problems with checking in, to the point that I was worried I had been scammed. There were 3 phone numbers provided, and two didn't work, and with the third one no one answered me for over an hour. I was panicking that I would have to find another hotel last minute. I called and texted many times to no response during the first hour after the posted check in time of 2 pm. When the owner finally got back to me he said he had a prayer time from 2-3pm. It is unacceptable business practice to have something scheduled for the entire first hour of check in, and to not respond to your guests when you know they will be arriving then. Most places also provide access instructions one day in advance and that didn't happen either. I had also messaged him a week prior to ask about the possibility of early arrival, and he never responded to that either. This check in experience derailed my entire day. The accommodation itself was as pictured, and the location was good. I would not stay here again as it was not worth the stress.
