We stayed in a one-bedroom apartment for 3 nights. The room was spacious and clean. The master bedroom was perfect and comfortable but the sofa bed was too thin and hurt our backs. The staff at the Altis Grand hotel next door was very helpful and friendly but some staffs at the suites were not that nice. Breakfast was amazing!
We have had a marvelous time at Altis Suite Apartments in Castilho Avenue 13. Lots of cafes around the suites for breakfasts around 10 euro for two people. Great rooms even though a little old fashioned but with plenty of storage. It was great to spread out in two rooms plus a kitchen and fantastic bathroom. Gizela did a great job of cleaning our room every day in a respectful and competent manner. Ines on late nights offered us impeccable help about places to visit and the local market to buy food.. We were only two blocks from the Libertade which was fascinating and it lead into the old city and Alfama. There is a post office close by to post things home. The people at the post office were very helpful. Remember to log in for a ticket. We posted souvenirs back home. There is a free shuttle to the airport that you need to book at the main desk at Altis Suites. Fantastic location and service from all staff.
Stayed at the Altis hotel and suites which is next door the Altis hotel. Staff was very friendly and ready to help. The room was very comfortable it had 2 rooms one with a king size bed and the other had a pull out sofa. There was a bathroom and a small well equipped kitchen. The location was nice and quiet and with in 15 minute walk to city center. Confortable beds good amenities. View was just ok. Just building behind it. You can go to the Altis hotel next door if you want a full bar and work out room and pool.
Very helpful staff an front desk. Clean, spacious room with access to all hotel facilities next door. 10 min easy stroll to sightseeing buses and metro. Good location for sightseeing.Lovely pool. Great to have a kitchette - would have loved a toaster.
Our family stayed at this 4.5* family suite for 5 nights and we enjoyed the location and the facilities. The 2 bedroom apartment suite with a kitchenette was spacious and the staff kept the place clean and tidy. The buffet breakfast was at the Altis Grand hotel next door where the swimming pool, sauna, jacuzzi and the spas were located as well. The reception staff were always courteous and helpful and we found the taxi service very easily available. Close by were shops and cafes and just around the corner was the Metro station which we used twice to get to the city during rush hours. Overall, a very pleasant stay here in Lisbon and would recommend it to families who intend to stay longer at this location.
The apartments are spacious. I had a two-bedroom apartment with a large living room and kitchen. Could only use half of it.. Very clean, and friendly staff. Breakfast was served in the Altis Grand Hotel just around the corner.
The suites are located centrally and you are able to use the facilities at the hotel next door. These include use of a swimming pool (children are not allowed in after 4pm and also you have to buy a swimming hat to use it) The suites themselves are spacious and have all the amenities you would expect - beds are very comfy. The only downside is that the walls are thin so if you have noisy neighbours you may have some disturbance. Breakfast is available at the hotel but is very average.
We stayed here in March 2017. We had two suites, one for my parents and one for myself, husband and almost two year old son. If you want a reasonably quite but well connected location and space for a toddler to run around in then this place is quite a good choice. The staff are friendly and helpful and the apartments are clean and spacious. We did have an issue with hot water on the first couple of days. Each apartment had a boiler and ours wasn't producing enough hot water for both myself and my husband to have a shower one after the other in the morning. We told the desk staff and they did manage to get someone to fix it for us reasonably quickly. The location is great, quite walkable to the main touristy sites and two metro stations are near by. My one tip with this place is don't order food from the restaurant in the hotel next door. We made this mistake, it was over priced and compared to what you can get in the local restaurants and cafes not the best quality. We got some great recommendations for places to go from the staff at reception and had great meals the rest of the holiday.
This is a self catering suite. There are two rooms. One a sitting room and the second a bedroom. The entrance has a kitchenette concealed as a closet. The place was very clean. The rooms are spacious. The TV is small but programming is up to date. The bathroom was clean but showing moderate signs of wear. Staff were very good. Family friendly. Amenities in the sister hotel next door are very good to excellent. We had breakfast twice and it was good to very good as far as breakfast buffets go. Reasonably close to downtown with a 20 minute walk or a 7 minute cab ride. The cab ride is about 5 - 6 Euro. Lots of local restaurants, high end shopping, within 5 - 10 minute walk. Metro is about 5 - 10 minute walk. Overall very good value for money. Very clean. With a facelift it would be an excellent place.
Big rooms, good kitchenette, very comfortable beds, great service, good location with easy access to airport by metro, walking distance from downtown. A/C is not working, we just have windows open. There is only one key and you need a key to unlock room from inside. The safe is very small.
