The property is great. Located near Mt Etna and wine country. The rooms are very nice and the restaurant is exceptional including all of the restaurant staff. Our stay at the Villa Neri was wonderful. The area is quiet and peaceful. The staff were all courteous and amazing. The hotel itself is a little bit secluded so driving is recommended if you want to get around and explore yourself. There are many things available to do at the resort: spa facilities, pool, tours of the winery, etc. The food was amazing. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to stay in a relaxing atmosphere for their trip.

Beautiful property in idyllic location

An incredible stay at Villa Neri for my wife and I. The room was large (Deluxe) and had one of the best bathrooms I had ever seen. The food at the Hotel is easily the best I have had at a hotel and deserving of a Michelin star. We were also very big fans of the hotel cats and their kittens and enjoyed seeing them treated well by staff. Only small points of feedback - the hotel sometimes felt understaffed, particularly at the pool bar during the day. The only other thing was the dated entertainment system in the room which you might expect to be a bit more modern for a hotel of this calibre. Otherwise a brilliant hotel all around.

Lovely hotel but not luxury service

Overall a lovely hotel and setting but a few things which let the hotel down. We have stayed in around 30 SLHs, and small things here which overall let down the "luxury" status. At breakfast you pay extra if you want omelette, fried egg or a vegetable juice for example... we had booked the restaurant for one evening prior to our stay (we went out the other night) but they failed to tell us they had an event on so we were unable to actually eat in the restaurant and got put in the breakfast room (we would happily have chosen to eat at the hotel restaurant another night instead had they told us this way the case). Wellness area was lovely, but i had a massage there which consisted of being rubbed very quickly rather than actually massaged (bit odd), and as i was pregnant they sat me up rather than putting me on my side which was less comfortable. Finally upon leaving i had left a bag of bottles and toiletries separately to our suitcase which had clearly been flung on the floor in the storage room smashing 2 glass bottles and ruining a lot of my belongings. Gorgeous pool area, very relaxing area, lovely clean hotel and nice toiletries.. a shame that these things let down our stay.

Un discreto quattro stelle (forse), non un 5*L.

A meno di un anno dal nostro ultimo soggiorno in questo posto incantevole, purtroppo abbiamo dovuto constatare un certo "decadimento" della struttura in tutte le sue parti. A deludere più di ogni altra cosa il servizio, soprattutto al (caro) ristorante. Poco personale, assolutamente impreparato a gestire i pochissimi coperti, scarsa attenzione al cliente, pietanze non illustrate, piatti scelti da menu à la carte di proporzioni inadatte finanche ad un menu degustazione. Ragnatele in camera, alcune lampade fulminate, porta di ingresso non insonorizzata. Ci hanno spiegato che le porte tagliafuoco non possono essere insonorizzate, ma è la prima volta che ci capita di sentire una cosa del genere... Bambini urlanti nei corridoi e in piscina, atmosfera da Aqua Park, ospiti che entravano in acqua vestiti e con ciabatte, nessuno è mai intervenuto. La prima sera un matrimonio organizzato in questa location, notte da incubo fra festeggiamenti, schiamazzi e musica ad alto volume, e successivo riordino degli spazi fino a tardissima ora. Rimangono ottimi l'abbondante colazione, i curatissimi spazi verdi e la zona della grande piscina, il letto comodissimo e la biancheria (di qualità). Ma in definitiva, non vale assolutamente quel che costa. È una giusta pretesa del cliente, che paga e sostiene queste strutture, avere in ritorno l'eccellenza che ci si aspetta (e che si pretende) da un albergo discreto che millanta le cinque stelle L. Ma così non è. Il lusso è altrove.

Fantastique hôtel avec vue sur l'Etna

Fantastique hotel avec une vue magnifique sur l'Etna ! Chambre spacieuse et propre. Petit-déjeuner très complet et très bon. Personnel très accueillant et service impéccable. Magnifique piscine. Un spa est dispo avec bain turc, sauna et piscine à remous (inclus) et massage contre supplément. Excellent repas mais avec des prix un peu trop cher et bon choix de vins (il faut absolument tester la Mondeuse - L'Ardenza - qui est un régal !!!). Possibilité de faire une balade sur le bas du versan nord-est de l'Etna avec un guide de l'hôtel qui explique l'histoire autour de ce lieu magique !!
