The comfortable apartment “Ferienwohnung Konrad Schielin” is situated in a quiet residential area of Lindau next to a brook and is only a short drive from the shores of Lake Constance and Lindau’s pretty old town centre. The apartment consists of a living room, 2 bedrooms as well as one bathroom and can therefore accommodate 4 people. Additional amenities include Wi-Fi and satellite television. You can start your day with coffee in the balcony with a nice view of the mountains in the distance. A supermarket and a pharmacy are located a 10-minute walk (800 m) away, and you can find bakeries and restaurants after a 6-minute walk or 450 m from the apartment. The closest beach, the Strandbad Eichwald, can be reached after 2.5 km or a 6-minute drive, where you can swim in the clear blue water in the midst of a wonderful lake and mountain panorama. Lindau’s charming old town centre, built on an island in the lake, is a 9-minute drive (2.6 km) away. There you can walk around the narrow streets, taste regional cuisine in one of the many great restaurants and enjoy the traditional architecture. On the island, you will also find the ferry terminal, from which you can cross the lake to the wonderful city of Bregenz in Austria. The hilly area around Lake Constance is also perfect for hiking or cycling tours, and in winter you can even go skiing after a 12-minute drive (10 km) across the Austrian border.

Loved this place!

This has been one of the highlights of our trip. The host met us upon checkin and and explained everything. He even gave us all a free pass for all buses and trains in the area! The VRBO was exactly as written on the vrbo website. We would definitely stay here again

Pros: Die Gastgeber haben uns gut geraten mit der Verkehrs möglichkeiten. Cons: Es wäre besser das Fernsehen im Schlafzimmer/Wohnzimmer haben.

Schöne Ferienwohnung mit ausreichend Platz

Pros: Die Wohnung war sehr sauber, die Betten haben nicht zu harte Matratzen (wie wir es sonst oft in Ferienunterkünften erlebt haben) und angenehm weiche Kopfkissen. Wer’s zum Schlafen gern richtig dunkel hat, wird sich über die Rollos freuen. Das Bad ist ganz neu, hell und geräumig. Vom Balkon aus hat man einen schönen Blick ins Grüne und hört das Wasser des Baches plätschern. Wir hatten Glück und konnten einem Reiher beim Fischfang zuschauen. Die Vermieter waren sehr nett und haben uns sogar am Anreisetag noch spät am Abend den Schlüssel gebracht. Direkt nebenan gibt es einen Döner Imbiss, der uns auch von Freunden empfohlen wurde. Den probieren wir beim nächsten Besuch aus. Alles in allem ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt. Wir kommen gerne wieder! :-)
