This property is newly remodeled. The beds were comfortable. It was a clean room however the room smelled. It needed fresh air in it but the windows were stationary and we couldn't open it up to air out. If I had to guess this room was a smoking room years ago and that's why it smelled. The room was clean and staff was friendly. We didn't call up to see if we could change rooms and probably should have. That is a problem with these older motels (smell from smoking).

NOT THE PLACE TO STAY IF TRAVELING WITH AN INFANT/TODDLER!! I was excited to find a place that could sleep 6 of us in 1 room. We arrived around 11pm with 4 tired children, the youngest barely 1, only to find out there were no pack’n’plays provided here. The clerk offered to refund our money so we tried to find an alternative. Everything was booked full or had rooms for 2 people only, so we were stuck. It was a horrible night trying to sleep with my son. Every time I moved the slightest he woke up and took time to get back to sleep. The layout of the room was great for a family traveling with older kids. It was nice to have a real fridge/freezer to store milk and ice packs for the next days travels! After we left and had been on the road a few hours I realized I had left my very nice memory foam pillow. When I called about it she let me know she had it. I asked about having it shipped to us and was told she’d call me back on Monday (it was Saturday). No call back on Monday or Tuesday so I called and got voicemail and left a message. Still no call back on Wednesday so I called again and again left a message. No call back on Thursday so I called again and was told it would be a day or two to find out about shipping costs. The following Monday I called again after hearing nothing back and the cost was $75. My pillow is now being held until I pass through again in June.

Seeing the local Dept. of Corrections facility on the off-ramp from the highway to your hotel is never a good sign. It's a moderately refurbished low-rent property in a sketchy area.
