Summary:
'Beachy Keen' is what we call this cozy oceanfront condo. It can sleep up to four people by way of a king size bed and a pull-out, has two full bathrooms and a full kitchen. This isn't a hotel room, this is a home! If the weather is stormy, stay inside and watch the waves from the amazing view of the oceanside suite. Don't forget about our indoor heated saltwater pool and dry sauna!

The Space:
Unit 122, which we call “Beachy Keen,” is a first-floor condo that has the personal touch of its owner, and the benefits of being just steps away from the edge of the beach.

This condo underwent a complete makeover in January 2015. It now features a king bed in the back bedroom, and a more open living area that has an elegant sofa that converts into a queen-sized bed. This doesn’t feel like a vacation rental. It feels like home.

A full kitchen provides all the ingredients for some serious home cooking. A keyless entry system prevents lockouts. Wi-fi is free and password-protected. 

There is a bench right outside your oceanfront doors, and a short stairway right to the sand.

Guest Access:
The condo comes with a unique code which will get you entry into your unit. There you will find a key that will grant you access to our indoor, heated salt water pool and dry sauna.

This is a condo in a shared complex, and it's worth noting that from time to time, you might hear everyday sounds coming from neighboring units and common areas within the facility.

There are three gas grills on site available for guest use. They are located next to our sparkling pool.

Literally steps from the beach!

The only reason this was given 3 stars is because upon arrival, the condo was not cleaned properly. The floors were filthy and full of sand and the bed was not made. We were given sheets by the housekeeper, but because of a language barrier, we were unsure if he was to put them on, or us. It seemed we were to do that. We swept the entire condo, and the floors were so dirty, they left our socks black. The gal in the office was very nice to bring us a mop and some floor cleaner, but we did that work as well. The gal said she would talk to the manager to see what they could do for us, but we never heard back. Other than that nightmare, the stay was very pleasant. Everything we needed to cook with was there. The ocean view was wonderful and it was so nice to be able to walk out the back door and walk a very short distance to the stairs to be quickly on the beach! Beautiful location! If the place had been cleaned properly, we would definitely book another stay. Very unfortunate.

Nice midsize lodging, slightly outdated BUT really comfy. Extra blankets were really nice. Location was great for close to town with beautiful views. The salt water pool was a very clean area with lots of space to store your things. We enjoyed the dry sauna which felt clean, comfy and SAFE. While staying on the bottom level we felt like we had plenty of privacy while the curtains closed and enjoyed the bench right outside our room. Can’t wait to stay during the summer so we can utilize the BBQ area located next to the pool😃

I believe our experience was caused mostly by a shortage of staff.

The proximity to the beach is fabulous. We enjoyed fires on the beach. My only real concern was how unclean the place was. Talked to staff and they can't get a solid housekeeping staff.

This was a fantastic place to stay! We arrived and the check in process was easy with just putting in our code to get in. The unit was very clean and had everything we needed/listed when we reserved. Some of the owners SUCK!

this was our third time staying at the Sea Gypsy. It is a great location with reasonable pricing. This condo was comfortable and equipped ok. There were no extra blankets for the chilly evenings and only 3 kitchen towels for a weeks stay. With the whole Covid-19 mess we thought the cleanliness would be better. We're not a stickler for ultra cleanliness but you could see things were cleaned in a hurry. Bar stools were not wiped down, sand on the floors, etc. Nothing that would keep us from coming back in the future. What will keep us from coming back is the A-hole owners of #123 that we unfortunately met on our 3rd nights stay. My wife had just had a medical procedure in Seattle before our visit and we came here specifically so she could relax, stress free and heal. Knowing these Jenks own any of these condos will keep us from coming back. Not only are they drunks, they are rude and condescending. My wife was smoking on the side of the building where there are NO windows and well beyond the 10 feet that the signs everywhere require, by herself. These Jerks came over and TOLD her she had to move. Mind you, I dont smoke and my wife is an overly respectful smoker. If they had asked her too, she would have moved. They did not though. They told her they were owners and that she would have to go to the far back corner of the property or that they would call the association. After my distraught wife came back to our condo and told me this I went down and gave them a tongue lashing I can't imagine they'll forget. The next few days we had to deal with their drunken talk of all the properties they owned. You could tell they hadn't actually worked for what they owned and their parents must have passed and left them money. Very uncouth. We ended up leaving a day early because of the fires and the power going out. Luckily we did as the next day Lincoln City was evacuated.

Almost PERFECT!

The one and only thing that happened is there were no blankets. There was a spread for the king but no blanket for the sofa bed. All us ladies are over 60 and one is 70 so that was a slight problem. Of course we didn't know until after midnight and the contact we had offered to let us go to the maids closet to get one but we managed without. An adjustment in the rent would be appreciated. We do understand, with all the necessary measures there can be some oversights.
