A blissful, contemporary hotel in the heart of the financial district in Lima. Rooms are very nice and clean; as is the rest of the hotel. The breakfast buffet service covers everyone's diets and the food was really good. We were not there for any other meals, so I cannot comment. The staff were all extremely polite and very helpful.
The Novotel is in the beautiful San Isidro area of Lima near major corporate offices, embassies and up market residences. The hotel itself is new and is clean with good staff, nice sized rooms with tea and coffee and functional bathrooms (albeit a little small). The breakfast is good and the restaurant serves excellent fresh meals in the dining room. The pool and gym in the basement are excellent.
I stayed in this hotel for 4 days for work. I did not pick the hotel or or pay for it, my job did. But I was very happy staying there. The room was comfortable, everything worked, the shower was good. The TV had stations in English and Spanish. I used the hotel pool and sauna. The pool was heated and pretty good, not hot enough to be a hot tub though. The sauna was weird, it smelled nice but never got very hot. It had a lot of steam. Maybe I didn't stay long enough. It wasn't particularly relaxing, just strange. I got a massage, too. It was not bad, but the room was cold so I couldn't fully relax there. All the staff were helpful. The food was good- I had the breakfast buffets which had a ton of options, and twice ate the lunch buffet which also had a lot of variety and several Peruvian dishes. I got room service one night- the salmon carpaccio was amazing and so was the cheese cake!
Very quick check-in process. The hotel is extremely clean as was my room. It was the first time I had been in a hotel room that smelt so clean.... even the towels smelt of laundry detergent. I loved the shower but I found the lighting in the toilet a bit inadequate. (the shower stall and toilet were in 2 separate rooms). I am not certain if my room was close to housekeeping or other services but each time I called reception for an item (an iron and ironing board and an adapter - 220 voltage (realized later that this was not necessary), in 5 minutes, someone was at my door. Make sure you iron all your clothes once you receive the iron as it will be gone by the time housekeeping returns. Careful about the food though, very, very tasty. I gained 3 pounds in a three night stay! May be difficult for vegans and vegetarians though. Some of delegates at the meeting I attended, found it a bit tricky to find food that catered to them. I eat meat and eggs so this was no problem for me. The hotel arranged a 3 hour city tour with Vision Lima for us which allowed us to see a bit of the city following the conclusion of our meeting. Great stay overall if you are on business!
Great hotel, but a bit of a distance from the airport...nice restaurant, complimentary full breakfast and located in a busy district. About seven miles from Hard Rock cafe and a large amphitheatre and mall in the city district
Very good hotel located in San Isidro. One of the safety places in Lima. Good restaurants nearby. Hotel was clean and room was spacious. Good for business stays and short family stays. Restaurant in the hotel is good. Staffs are friendly. They amended my reservation on request after checking-in at the hotel.
Great location, cheap cab rides to Miraflores. Rooms were well equipped and spacious, beds comfy. The toiletries were somewhat manly smelling (woodsy, musky) and there were no washcloths. Only one channel in English, so my husband watched a lot of soccer...lol. Wifi great, breakfast fine, staff nice.
A plain, modern chic hotel. Rooms immaculate, bed comfy, feather pillows (I don't like) all the little extras in the room. I had a lounge in my double room. Great wifi - unlike others I've stated at in South America. The buffet breakfast is good as is the service All the staff at the concierge speak English. Bonus for me not speaking anything other than a few words of Spanish. It's not lavish, but I think it's better than the 5 star we stayed in Buenos Aires.
Very nice modern hotel in Lima business district. Normal start & end for Trafalgar tours. Clean & comfortable with very friendly service. Indoor pool. Some really good restaurants (try Vivaldi!) close by. Free buffet breakfast. Your about 15 minutes from any of the tourist attractions. Taxis are all over the area & Uber is big here (no Lyft yet!). One note on sundays it's a ghost town around the hotel. Quiet bar in hotel open till 11.
The rooms are ok, somewhat small for the price yet clean. A bit noisy, even on the 6th floor with a closed window you can hwar the street all too well. The walls are very thin so you can hear ajacent rooms. DO NOT dinner at the hotel restaurant, it is the worst meal I have had in Lima. Powdered soup for starter and an overcooked fish fillet with plain rice for mains.... For a staggering 85Sol. Every other place will be better to eat at, even the street venders.
