Just spent 4 nights at this lovely hotel. Service was great, room was claim and roomy. View little crappy a looked out onto street and building but with it's location can't expect anything else. Was in the middle of Miraflores in walking distance to everything. Breakfast was great. All in all great standard both in accommodation and service.
Stayed at this property for 2 nights right before Easter. Upgraded my room to a suite, walking distance to many of the sights in Miraflores, conveniently located near many nice restaurants and also a very nice breakfast. Highly recommend if you want to explore Lima.
The Crowne plaza is a very nice property. It's minutes away from Mira Flores where you will find the shopping mall and beach. The staff were always so kind and helpful. The suite was large and very comfortable. There is a small indoor pool to relax in. The gym is limited but well designed for a hotel gym. Overall, I recommend.
Stayed here for 2 nights. Due to flight delays arrived at 2 am, staff were very pleasant and helpful. Upgraded to a suite which was very large and clean although definitely dated. Breakfast which was included was good with eggs cooked to order. Easy walk to Parque Kennedy. Not the best Crowne Plaza we have ever stayed in, but would recommend if in Lima.
Stayed here for one night before heading to Cusco. The staff is friendly and helpful and check in was a breeze. The room I had was good with a good-sized bathroom. Breakfast had a good selection and the staff was attentive here too. Would stay here again for sure.
Whilst the hotel is well located and i have stayed there a number of times, my most recent experience was less than pleasant and the hotel reaction has been poor to say the least. I opened the sealed bottle of complimentary water in the room to pour a glass to drink overnight. On bringing the glass to my mouth there was a strong smell of acetone. At first i thought the glass was dirty but when I smelt the bottle it was obvious the water was actually acetone. I immediately reported this to hotel management and their initial reaction was positive. However since then the true face of corporate entities has been revealed. 2 weeks after my stay no progress seems to have been made as to where / how the water was contaminated and to keep me quiet i was offered a few points - about enough for an overnight stay. This is the value Crowne Plaza puts on their guests wellbeing so beware. There is obviously poor quality control of their suppliers and / or staff and once a report has been made the action is to try and sweep it under the carpet as quickly as possible so complaints regarding guest safety do not come to light. I have contacted IHG corporate offices in the UK to highlight this matter but have been given the same bland reply - so it is not just a hotel policy it is corporate policy.
Staff and rooms were excellent and Crowne Plaza Lima is within walking distance of many fun restaurants and sights (like Parque Kennedy). We felt safe at all times as we patrolled the streets of Lima. Excellent hote.
Take this hotel out of your inventory. This has to be the worst Crowne Plaza hotel I have ever stayed in. This hotel is not properly represented in its advertisement. It needs a facelift and an overhaul. The desk clerk the checked us in seemed like we were more of a bother than a guest. We were told that the hotel was sold out so we would not be able to checkout late. It seemed like we were the only guest at the hotel though. I even offered to pay to stay late and was denied.
Hotel seems freshly updated, staff super helpful. Gym was spotlessly clean. There is a sauna and small pool for relaxing after walking the town all day. Our room was he 11th floor and some street noise still creeks in but area quiet at night. In room coffee and a mini bar. They will remove the stock of the mini bar if you want to fill it with your stock. Easy walk to the cliffs. Our room was cleaned while we were out to breakfast one morning we never saw who did it as it was like magic.
Cant talk about the price as I didnt pay for it in fairness. Room was big, view was nice, quiet and had all the amenities youd expect. The bar wasnt too overpriced and the cocktails were nice. Breakfast was solid and kudos to the staff for recognizing me and making me coffee without asking every day, a nice touch. They also let us check in early which was another bonus. Reason to deduct one star is the sauna needs to be turned on in advance and at no point were we ever told this, so going all the way downstairs in a robe and towel to open a cold room and then be told by the attendant that hed have to turn it on for us and wed need to wait half an hour was just tedious. Was looking forward to relaxing and made it difficult. Room service also good and punctual! Would def stay again.
