This would have been a nice set up if it were not for the fact that the staff was really obnoxious. It started with the driver not being at the airport to pick us up, and escalated from there. They insisted that their hotel had a higher rate than everyone else in Peru! They tacked on a 10% charge for paying with a credit card. There was flooding before we left so the water was shut off. They did not prepare for the toilets to be flushed. Another guest complained and they told him to leave if he didn't like it. The first day they said breakfast was included, and the second day they said it was extra. There were three people in my group, but they kept only giving us two towels. I had to ask for an extra towel every day which made the staff very angry. I don't speak Spanish, but my friend does, and even she couldn't deal with the staff without them rolling their eyes or changing the prices as they pleased. I do not recommend anyone staying at this hotel!!!

Dear customer. Really sorry for the inconvenience but In Peru, mudslides have destroyed 14,000 homes, left 150,000 homeless and killed more than 100 people during your stay in march. While the government has declared a state of emergency and asked for international aid. And that is the reason why we did not have enough water for those two days. I hope you understand.
