This is the hotel out of city , out of stress with a beatiful big green garden. The rooms are clean and confortable. The people are helpful. There is a big and free place to park your car. The prices are ok.
Straightforward hotel rooms spacious enough and clean, bed comfy. Reception staff on Evening shift could not have been more professional and helpful, thank you. Keeping kitchen open for a quick omelet evening meal which was just the ticket. Breakfast was good too. Ideal quick stop over for business travelling.
The location of this hotel isn't exactly scenic. It is on a small industrial estate close to a busy autoroute, but don't let this put you off. We used it as a base for attending WW1 commermorative events around Ypres and found it to be just the ticket.(we couldn't get closer). The hotel / rooms are well presented and maintained and very clean. Staff friendly, helpful and informative. lots of parking on site and free WiFi. Breakfast is buffet style and very good - lots of choice. The bar and restaurant are open in the evenings but we didn't use these so can't offer an opinion. Likewise re' facilities in the local town. What we got was an easy to find, clean comfortable hotel with great staff, quiet undisturbed sleep, and a good breakfast.
. The general location - next to a motorway and in an industrial estate isn't the most classy location we have stayed in but the hotel is easy to find and is handily located for the major routes into and out of Lille. This small functional hotel has a very quiet garden with hens and a vegetable allotment at the back with paved terrace area for drinks and al fresco dining which adds to its charm. Rooms are clean, have very comfortable beds and an adequate bathroom. Breakfast is very good value with multiple choices of hot and cold food. Service in all regards is very friendly and nothing is too much trouble. There is no lift but bags are carried up by the receptionist if required. Large secure parking area.
Booked this hotel for based on the photos as I was willing to pay a bit extra for a larger than normal hotel room. On arrival the reception was quick and professional. I was given a superior room for free as they were available. However the room was still no bigger than a room you would find at a F1 or BB hotel... The room was certainly not as big as I thought it was going to be from those I saw on the photos nor did it gain its "superior" title from its size! I can only presume it was better decorated than the standard rooms. The room was clean and nicely decorated. There was however no fan or air conditioning which for a superior room I find strange and was not ideal during one of the hottest weeks on record since 1976 ! The room is well decorated, clean and the towels and linen good quality. Free Tea and coffee plus a small bottle of water were nice. Wi-Fi was included but I was never able to actually load any pages from the web so resorted back to my iPhone and global roaming from my service provider.. Restaurant was unavailable that evening so no idea what the food was like. I had to leave before breakfast was served so no idea about that either. No breakfast boxes on offer. No lift here. To sum up the price for the room was not what I would have paid if I had known how big it actually was, or small should I say. The price tag for these rooms is for the décor and bed/towels/linen..
I stayed here on business for 1 night. Although I didn't have dinner the restaurant was full when I arrived so it can't be bad. My room overlooked the garden which made me forget that the hotel is located near a busy road. The room was fine with all the perks you can expect and it was clean. Breakfast was good offering more than a continental breakfast but less than a full American breakfast. The staff I met were all very friendly and spoke good English so I didn't have to embarras myself speaking French.
When looking for a hotel in Tourcoing or surroundings the first view was the Garden Lille. It is really easy to access this hotel from the freeway when you come from the South, a little more difficult, when you come from the North, but it is easy to get from here to any direction. Well, reception was very attentive, also speaking a fair English. They explained the amenities, free Wifi, and they asked immediately if I wanted to have dinner. The rooms are somewhat small, but very comfortable. Boxspring-beds, small bathroom (does not fit 2 at the same time), desk, chair, flat screen TV, good internet connection. The breakfast was selective but a little too expensive.
Stayed here for the second time and not the last time. Mini Paris-Roubaix is every year around the same dates, so we will be back again in 2017! Location works very well for us. Family room or 2x rooms (connecting) total price €100. Breakfast €10 pp extra and half price for children. Friendly staff. Clean room.Firm beds and quiet surroundings. We will be back!
We drove through Tourcoing as part of a drive trip around Europe. The hotel was nice and cosy, comfortable, not expensive at all and the staff was friendly and helpful. I loved the garden at the back, with a little pond and a beer garden. The place is very easily accessible from the motorway and conveniently located so that if you chose this place as a base, there are quite a few attractions within an hour's drive, including Bruege (Belgium) and Lille. Not far from the hotel there is a retail park with a number of shops and places to eat and even a soft play area for children. I would recommend to my friends as a short break option that is good value for money.
Stayed here with a friend as it is very convenient for the Musee de la Resistance in Bondues. Glad we did as the hotel is extremely comfortable and in nice quiet surroundings, and with a lovely garden to the rear. The place was clean, the evening meal and breakfast were top class. Staff were excellent too. Could not fault.
