We stayed in this apart hotel for 3 nights. Having read the reviews I was not sure what to expect. We were certainly not disappointed. A compact but very well designed and smart kitchen area, separate bathroom and toilet and lovely comfy bed. Some lovely little touches such as a nifty little clothes line over the bath and your own iron and ironing board. Things to perhaps consider. You only get the room cleaned once a week but as we were only here 3 days this did not bother us. You are also right next to the train station and so if you're a light sleeper may not be suitable. So if you want a good reasonable price place to stay close to everything then you can't go wrong in staying here. We would not hesitate to stay again.
My guest and I only stayed in the room we checked into, long enough to book a room at the Crown Plaza hotel down the street (which was cheaper). The one bedroom condo at this establishment was dirty, poorly maintained, and absurdly expensive. We paid over $220/night for it . The Crowne Plaza was cheaper and much better. The couch in this one bedroom condo , you would never touch, much less sit on because it was so dirty and old. This place is nothing like the pictures and I would never recommend it to anyone. I have stayed in many places throughout France and Europe and this does not compete. It is the first time I have walked out of a place and refused to stay there even knowing they would not be providing a refund for a very expensive room. They didn't even take the time to clean the floor in the room.
I book 3 nights here. I get there one day late cause my health was not good. The receptionist was not polite and didnt help at all with parking or extraplugs for the phone. I was saturday 5pm she was alone and it was a lot of work. The room was not clean, on the floor you can see the spot of liquid and it was sticky. Bathroom have hairs from another tourist. The view was a 100 % of the solar panel and cable and structure of things. Terrible. The bed was so bad that we couldnt sleep at all cause the bed and the pillows was not good and it was to noice inside and outside. And someone try to get inside when we was
The apartment floor (room 901) was dirty, it seemed that the house keeping never mopped it. Check in time was at 3 pm, but the apartment was not ready yet, we had to wait about 40 minuten. Overall was a nice apartment to spend with a family and great location.
We stayed one night, arriving late in the evening to get the first Eurostar train to London out of Lille Europe. This was a perfect place for such a stop over. The apartment was clean, modern with excellent faciltiies including free WiFi and a TV with a good range of channels.
Had a lovely stay at Citadines. The room was clean and tidy. The hotel staff was friendly. Parking was a bit confusing with several codes and passwords but we managed everything. The best part of our stay was breakfast - the real french breakfast which includes crepes. GREAT!
Our non-smoking room had a very strong stale cigarette smell as soon as we entered the unit. Opening all the windows in the unit was the only way to cope but this caused me to have to stay up half the night swatting away mosquitoes. I am very grateful I only stayed one night. I've stayed at over a dozen Citadines residences throughout the UK and Europe and this one was by far the worst. Should I return to Lille I would not even consider staying here again.
Its a lovely hotel with a great location for shopping or visiting L’aeronef (wich we did). We had a fantastic view of Lille on the 12th floor. It has a little kitchen with a big fridge and little dishwasher. Beds were clean and the staff was very friendly and helpfull.
Location ideal. But won’t stay again not modern a double is 2 singles pushed together with 2 single quilts. Not romantic ! Shower area had an old white/gray shower curtain with Mold stains. Only 1 comfy chair in a twin room ? No dining table just a desk against a wall
A marvelous overview of the city The staff is frank and problem-solving oriented. The apartment is larger than elsewhere. Bath products are the highest quality. We're in the center of the city. It's easy to go to the to the railway stations. A subway station is next. You have a lot of restaurants around and shops.
