Nice hotel a good location close to the bars ,restaurants and shops, the bar im the hotel is nice ,had dinner in the restaurant which was good and reasonable price. rooms are modern and well equiped . Only disapointment having to pay €15 for parking after spending €160 for a room
Only good points. We booked a standard room, which was a nice looking room; large bed; thick curtains; clean bathroom; free bottle of water etc. Also the public space/lobby/café was a nice addition to our experience. And the price for the parking lot was good.
The stay would be trully perfect if the duvet was longer. I need to use 2 duvets and I'm not a basketball player (1,88m tall). But the service is very warm, the room is very quiet and the bathroom is just great. Nice bar/restaurant also.
central location, confortable room, excellent breakfast, parking facilities friendly people we have been delighted to spend two nights in Penta hotel liege we recommend this hotel as probably the best quality price ratio for a nice staying at Liege center
one of the few Hotel bar, restaurant that was full in the evening, room was ok and excellent breakfast. friendly and helpful staff. The room we had had a view of the car park building about 8 meters away but was nice and quite other rooms face the main street which could be noisy. Location of the Hotel is great as it is only a short walk away from the town centre
Excellent stay & location for a night-over in Liege. This was a short business trip. The new pentahotels over a modern look, and in this case excellent location close to the (old) city center of Liege/ Belgium - Ardennes. Very good price / quality - modern and pleasant rooms.
Ideally located 5 minutes walk from Le Carre - old, narrow streets filled with bars, restaurants, shops - this is a stylish hotel offering very good value for money. The room was a good size, nicely decorated and spotlessly clean, with a kettle, tea and coffee stuff and lovely toiletries. We didn’t use the WiFi so I can’t comment on that, nor did we try breakfast as we needed a lie-in (breakfast finishes at 10 or 10.30). The staff are very friendly and offer excellent customer service. The bar seems to be a destination in itself and was busy on the Thursday evening that we stayed. A very positive and enjoyable stay.
Recommended hotel. Very nice and cosy bar with a free pool biljart. Friendly staff and not a typical hotel. Rooms are clean and everything is styled in a warm and nice way. Beds are very comfortable. All you want to see is on walking distance.Visit Liege/Luik visit Penta hotel.
The Penta is well situated just outside the old centre of Liege. Cross the road, take the path opposite the crossing and you are there! Plenty of restaurants, interesting shops and a really nice cinema very nearby. The decor of the Penta is really cool - glitter balls and purple lighting in the reception/bar area, chique modern bedrooms with a good spacious shower and excellent comfortable beds. Our room was at the back of the building - not much of a view, but incredibly quiet. We had a really good night's sleep. We rarely eat dinner in a hotel, but decided to eat in the Penta as the ambiance was so nice. We were not disappointed - delicious food and a fine range of gins to choose from. The breakfasts were really good too. There is a small gym on the first floor - not a great variety of equipment, but what is provided is good. I would definitely recommend the Pentahotel!
This hotel is located about a 5-10 min walk outside of the Liege city centre. The building and rooms are superb. New and with quirky, industrial style fittings. The lights are a little in-your-face but this can be remedied once the dials are understood. We opted for a larger, deluxe style room for about 150 euros per night without breakfast. Not cheap but the room was well proportioned and had a safe, (empty) fridge and nice toiletries that got regularly refilled. Breakfast was again superb, with everything you would want from juices, cooked breakfast, cold cuts, cheese selection, large selection of breads, waffles and a number of pastries and cakes. The 16 euros per day per person is worth it. The reception area doubles up as a bar and that worked fine for us. What really let this hotel down (for us) was the internet connection. The connection that comes free with the room is only 0.09 MB in speed and impossible to use. It must be designed to buy the high-speed internet connection, which we did, for about 18 euros for three nights. This delivered the 10 MB speed it promised but you had to re-connect each time, and it never became clear to us whether the charge was per device or for the entire room. We rely on the internet and in this day and age a reasonable connection should be included in the room price, especially when you opt for a deluxe room. The (very nice) reception staff seems aware of the issues but management must not be and are missing out on return customers with this choice. Unfortunately we would not choose this hotel chain again because of the internet arrangements.
