Stayed in this hotel from 21Apr till 27Apr 2019. Hotel location is about 3km from city centres on the new developed area of Lhasa. From Airport to hotel will take about 1 1/2 hours by car. This property has very huge compound. Room was spacious and super clean. Bed is very comfortable. Breakfast was ok. Not many choices but it is adequate. Staff at reception was polite and try to help at their best. Thank you for Ashley for making me so welcome. I really appreciate for your help and generosity. Concierge was very helpful. They eager to help. Please help to furnish all Staff with basic English that would be helped for non Chinese visitors. There is no gym or swimming pool at the moment. Overall, I love this hotel and service that still above my standard. I will sure come back again for my next trip. My room was 20218 With love from me.
I was there in sept for a week, the hotel is fabulous. The most important thing for us when we visiting Tibet is to cope with the altitude sickness. The hotel provide an oxygen supply centrally in the room from 8.00 pm till 8.00 am, so we really feel comfortable in the hotel room bot like many others five star hotels in Lhasa where their oxygen supply are not installed centrally. Very recommended.
Very grand lobby! Rooms were very spacious and comfortable. Service was good once you get through the language barrier. The front desk spoke English, but everywhere else was lacking. Breakfast buffet was good, but a little too spread out, by the time you get back to your table, the food was usually lukewarm. Overall, good experience.
Stayed here for a night. The room we stayed in was large and comfortable. Had problem with the toilet suite in that it did not flush well. This was subsequently fixed but not after some communication difficulty as the hotel staff do not speak English.
the Lhasa Intercontinental paradise hotel is local at the east part of Lhasa city , the hotel far with old part of Lhasa city and jokhang temple bakhor street 5km ,far to the Potala palace around 6km.it is a new western style hotel the beautiful building and excellent service , all hotel design according to super 5star standard .also very good amenities served ,the client was enjoyable to stay here a couple of day once travel in Tibet ,
When we lived there, we were told that each room of this hotel would be filled with oxygen from 8:30pm to 6:30am. I didn't test it, nor knew how to do so, but my family did sleep very well in our room. They also have an oxygen bar which open 24hrs. Our room was spacious and clean, and the staffs were attentive and friendly. Their breakfast was great, but the food for room service and dinner weren't impressive. From this hotel to the old town takes about 5min drive. Overall, highly recommended.
We have booked this hotel for our stay in Lhasa , but after first 2 hours in hotel we decided to cancel our reservation and mooved to a different hotel . first - the comunication level in english in all hotel is close to 0 - even in reception we had problems of communicating. Restaurants are close to a disaster from service point of view ... Locattion is far away from the Lhasa city / center ...
Without doubt, this is a great stay. A quiet and peaceful environment will not be overtook any brightness by its biggest disadvantage which is a lit bit far away from central downtown, never mentioned that shuttle bus is provided, it becomes very convenient for me to go someplace in Lhasa. One last thing, thanks for front desk manager Becky Wei who has given me a room upgrade when I check-in. I even have got two free drinks at lobby bar. After all, I think, for sure, it definitely worth a comeback.
It has been many, many years since I have experienced such genuine concern for our well-being. Truly outstanding service. A warm thank you to Charlie, Tashi and all the other staff whose names are too numerous to remember. Thank you all.
One would not expect o find such a complete provision of services in a remote area like Tibet. The hotel is a monument to Tibet and the Himalayas, the rooms are incredibly luxurious, the staff is efficient and kind. My son and I were extremely satisfied with our five day stay.
