My wife and I stayed here for one night in May 2017. The lobby and public areas are well maintained and quite nice. The room we had was HUGE! The furniture and carpeting was getting a little worn, but it was spotless! The breakfast was outstanding and well staffed. Very enjoyable stay!
I found a great deal on prepaying for a suite here! I was a little concerned at first because it was so cheap compared to the "H" hotels I normally stay at. We stayed 2 nights. The suite was huge for a family of 5, lots of pillows which were soft, nice mattresses, and plenty of towels. Everything was in like new condition. There were two TV's to keep the kids from fighting, and great wifi service. The room had a mini fridge and microwave, couch, multiple chairs, desk, etc. So easy to relax here. Cookies in the afternoon and a pleasant front desk lady! Breakfast had plenty of selection, albeit a lot of bread choices like biscuits, toast, bagels, donuts, and muffins. There was cereal, oatmeal, yogurt, bananas and apples for healthier choice. Plenty of selection to make a good "free" breakfast for 5 people. I highly recommend this place. If and when I come back I will stay here again. I also will be looking for more of these chains in other states. (We stayed on the opposite side of highway so no noise for us. We made sure to ask thanks to previous reviews. Not sure about the rooms but you couldn't hear the freeway once inside the lobby.) I hope you find this hotel as pleasurable as we did!
We stayed here for the night on our way to Florida. The rooms were very spacious and very clean. The bathroom was also spacious and clean. The beds were very comfortable. The staff was very nice and pleasant. We would definitely stay here again!
Good things: (1) Very clean room, bathroom, common areas and corridors. (2) Little noise from fellow guests. (3) Dining area open all day (not just breakfast) (4) Large commodious suites with pull-out couch for third bed. Bad things: (1) No tables in rooms/no microwave in dining area so we had to cook our dinner in our own microwave and take it downstairs to eat. (2) Hot breakfast ending too early on weekdays: 9:30 (3) Annoying and distracting TVs in breakfast room. I realize this is a losing battle, but I really wish there weren't any TVs at all in common areas. When I'm on vacation, I just want to tune out all the noise. At one point it was so bad, I actually had to sit at a lone table by the check in desk. However, when we ate dinner and there was no one else was in the room, we requested to turn them off and were granted that request. (4) Location: Too far from downtown Lexington. Getting there is an ordeal, with lots of long red lights and tons of teeth-gnashing traffic. Driving in this part of Lexington is very stressful. :( Overall though, this was the best deal I could find in the Lexington area. I used the Choice Rewards program so all three nights were free. It was 12,000 points per night, which was probably about average for a suite. Other hotels were either too small or burned through more reward points.
This hotel is not far from the expressway - though there are numerous hotels in the area it was still quiet - no street or truck noises. Beds were comfortable - called ahead with a late check in - customer service was very good, fast check in. Breakfast was typical for a hotel - though go early - breakfast options are fewer the later you arrive.
First time at this Comfort Inn & Suites. It is just off I-75. I had a King Bed Suite. The room seemed small and no chair except the office type chair. The noise level from I-75 required us to use ear plugs. The AC unit apparently was leaking moisture as in the AM I noted the carpet was damp to about 18 inches from the unit. Useful hint, ask for an even numbered room, that will get you on the other side of the hall away from the interstate noise. The staff was very professional, helpful and quite courteous. I would stay again.
Overall it was a great experience. The room was comfortable and the staff was friendly. It was a little noisy being close to the highway but still a very nice stay. The breakfast area was clean and there were enough options to have a solid breakfast before heading out for the day.
We stayed here because we had a very early appointment the next day and couldn't make the drive. We had a two queen bed suite and it was huge. It was basically the size of two regular rooms. There was a full size living room with a couch, chair, two tables, and a television on a stand, then a small hall area with a mirror, microwave, and refrigerator, then the bedroom area with two beds, a chair, and another television on a stand. The pool was a bit small, but besides this, it was just fine. I can't comment on the breakfast because we had to checkout around 5:30 AM. I can say the dining area looked very nice and there was always coffee and tea available. The only disappointing part of the stay was the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff at the front desk. Check-in took a little longer and some rudeness to other customers was witnessed. Also, the checkout process in the morning took longer than usual. I expected a copy of the bill under my door and a speedy checkout, but we had to go to the desk to get everything finalized. Overall it was a good stay and a great room, we would consider staying again if in the area.
Nice clean room for a good price!! My wife has had 2 stokes, ask for room on 1 st floor. They were real nice and made it happen. All people behind the desk was very nice and helpful. Very nice pool. We enjoyed the stay.
This is the worst room we have ever had to deal with, we will never do it again. They were renovating the downstairs part of the motel, if you ask me they should have shut the whole thing down to get it all, done as soon as possible. They let it go to far before doiing the right thing. Sure hope they get new bedding, and find better laundry people on keeping the sheets white and clean.
