For the price, the Comfort Inn on 2400 Buena Vista was a very good place to pull in late at night. Since we came in late, I was very glad we called ahead for reservations. Membership in the Choice club and an AARP membership made this the cheapest motel on the trip. The king room was small, but clean. the building itself was clean and close to I-75. Being close to I-75 traffic noise was evident.
Comfy beds and pillows, clean and friendly. Breakfast was adequate, but did not include bacon. We did not use the pool. It was a bit noisy, but I had packed a white noise machine so it didn't bother me.
The hotel appeared clean enough. The public areas were kept better than the rooms. The stay was okay, but there are so many other option in Lexington that I will stay somewhere else in the future. I didn't have any major concerns with the room, just not as clean as I like. The carpets were dirty, there was a hair on the white sheets, and there was an opened bottle of water left in the fridge. I just couldn't get comfortable because it didn't feel "clean." Traveling with kids, I was hoping to get breakfast before starting our day, but at around 7am, they hadn't even started getting anything out so we had to get something elsewhere. I couldn't even get a cup of coffee (supposed to be available 24/7) and I tried a few different times. I might have requested some, but the front desk was vacant the morning we left. There are many other options in Lexington in the price range that do include the advertised amenities, even the little things, so I recommend looking elsewhere.
Stayed here for 2 nights in Nov. Super nice people and excellent, clean rooms. Will stop here again, soon. Saw the breakfast that was served but didn't have time to stop. Lemon flavored water provided in the front lobby.
Went out for a friends 21st Birthday party and this place was great! It was really clean and the beds were very comfortable. And breakfast was super good! I would definitely recommend this hotel to any one I know!
Great room. Was very clean and a great location. We were on the fifth floor (had elevator) and was very quiet. We particularly liked having a Cracker Barrel within sight of our room so we didn't have to travel far to eat. Would stay again if in the area again.
Nice place for a recent one night stay. The hotel is close to the interstate and plenty of restaurants and shopping. The only downfall would be its location to the interstate, it can be noisy. Try to get a room that's on the opposite side of the roadway. The room was great and so was the breakfast. I would stay here again.
Very nice Comfort Inn. No complaints at all. Clean and great choice of pillows! Our room faced the interstate, which did not bother us at all. But you could request a room on the opposite side of the building. The TV in the fitness room did not work, but a young man at the front desk immediately came fixed the problem.
Hotel was easy to find, and, staff was very friendly. Pros: Good breakfast, easy to locate, right off of the highway, lots of gas stations, restaurants, etc. nearby, room was clean, tvs were nice, and channel selection was great. Cons: It is literally RIGHT on the highway, so, get a room facing the other direction, it is a the end of the road behind a huge Hustler "establishment" (adult "store"), the room design for the suite was AWFUL...one bed is about 10 inches from the door to the bathroom...blocking the door, there is no A/C unit in the living room area, there is a weird cutout/hole at the top of the door to the bedroom...no privacy!, also, the door does not come all the way to the top of the frame..about a 4 inch gap...again...no privacy!, there is no trash can in the bedroom, whenever the adjacent room uses any water, it sounds like a monsoon coming, the closet door is right behind the bedroom door...you can only have one open at a time, very little space between the two queen beds, not a whole lot of parking...if you come in late, you may have to park far from the hotel entrance, could use a few more outlets and/or power strips in the room, and, the #1 con was the tub/shower in room 508 (and probably all of the rooms) was the SLIPPERIEST tub/shower floor I have ever experienced in my LIFE! I have never seen a shower with NO traction or, at least, a shower mat. My mother and I were scared for our lives, literally! I believe that the hotel is aware of this, because, there is a handicapped bar in the shower, and, we were not in a handicapped accessible room. A cheap fix for this would be for the hotel to go to the Dollar Tree and buy bath mats to put in their tubs. This is probably a violation of some sort of code...the hotel really needs to fix this ASAP!
My stay at the Comfort Inns and Suites has been a pleasant one. Everyone is extremely helpful but one person stands out. Her name is Kim she works in the evening and she does so much to keep the night running most people couldn't keep up with her. She is multifaceted and multi-talented in her abilities. If not for her I think the evening shift would disintegrate into madness. She has assisted me on several occasions and continues to do so today. She has more than earned her place in the Comfort Inn family. Another up-and-coming star of the Comfort Inn & Suites family is Chantal. Where she is shy and reserved, she is also an exceptionally hard worker, eager to please, assist and do her very best at her tasks & has much untapped potential. Personally I see her going far in this business. Everyone that visits Comfort Inns and Suites on Buena Vista we'll get to watch Chantal grow and Excel in this business. The rooms are kept at a high standard they're clean daily occasionally there's a problem, but not one so severe that it can't be fixed immediately. Breakfast I would have to say are my favorite time of the day. Everything is cooked fresh daily. And all items are hot and ready. The chefs keep food pumping out of the kitchen the keep up with the demand for the food. The atmosphere at Comfort Inns and Suites is more than a hospitable one it is a family-oriented one. The perfect place to bring a little ones to relax and enjoy the scenery and all that Lexington has to offer. the location of Comfort Inns is perfect it's clearly visible from the highway in both day and night. Which draws people to it. The rewards program for Choice Hotels is also here and it's perfect anybody can sign up and I recommend everybody sign up. Currently the building is undergoing a facelift of sorts. Nothing on the inside is being touched just the outside to make it more appealing and I must say it is spectacular I've watched it progressed over the past few days and they are doing a splendid job. Photographs will be included. On location is also a workout center and an indoor pool. The pool is not extremely deep is the deepest part only goes 5 ft. The workout room comes with several machines. The doors leading to these rooms require a key card entry which means you have to be a resident of Comfort Inns in order to gain access. The area in which Comfort Inn is set as a multitude of restaurants and stores surrounding it including but not limited to Cracker Barrel, Arby's, McDonald's, Wendy's, Bob Evans, Walmart, and Starbucks. To name a few. And it is good to mention that we are a mere 20 minutes away from Keeneland for those of you that enjoy the horse races. Is the opinion of this Google guide if you are in the Lexington area and would like a place to relax kick back do business or just enjoy time with your family, this is the place to do it.
