Enjoyed our stay from check-in to check-out, especially the continental breakfast. Madelon is awesome. The welcoming aroma of freshly-cooked bacon was terrific! Food was tasty, coffee was fresh and hot, and the dining area inviting. Thank you, Madelon, for getting our day off to a great start and for your personable hospitality! Thank you, also, Comfort Inn!
Unless unavailable, we always stay here when traveling to Lexington. Staff is friendly and helpful. The king suite is spacious, rates are affordable, and location is convenient. Madelon and Jim meet you in the breakfast area ready to get your day started with a smile and a helping hand. Only thing keeping this from a 5 rating for me is the Wifi that can be slow at times. This will continue to be our preferred place to stay when in town.
We were very pleased with our stay here. The beds were comfortable and the room had all the amenities. The breakfast bar had a great variety and we enjoyed the pleasant personality of Madelon that kept the food stocked and the area spotless.
We stoped here coming back from Ohio, it’s about half way. We haven’t gotten much sleep. And we were woken up 3 separate times to the house keepers knocking on the door after I went to the door and said what time is check out, he said I think 11? And he said we are just seeing if your still there. Then proceeded to come back again and open the door. We had it locked all three times. The care nothing about there guests and I am very displeased. Will never stay her again.
We stopped at comfort inn & suites in the middle of the night looking for two bed and pull out couch. The room I had booked online didn’t have a couch, but KIM helped us out by upgrading us for free to a huge room with a living room! And signed us up for the choice hotels rewards program earning us points for our comfortable stay. Our room was clean and more than accommodating. Plus, the towels were the softest I’d ever used at a hotel!!! Way to go kim, for making our stay as best it could be:)
Got a 2 room suite on our trip home to Wisconsin. Girls were friendly and helpful. When I was making up the couch for my son to sleep on, I noticed a used feminine pad laying on the floor behind it. It was late and I knew they had given out the last suite so I took a picture and decided to bring it up in the morning. I talked to the clerk in the morning and she took a copy of my pic to show to the general manager and said that they would be in touch with me when they got there. Well, no phone call so apparently they don't care about their customers satisfaction. Needless to say, we will not be staying at this hotel again and I would not recommend it to anyone either.
Stayed here compliments of my brothers traveler points and I would stay again. It seemed clean but somewhat dated. King bed was comfortable. In room coffee was ok, not great and not lousy like many. Staff was fine. Did not eat the breakfast because we wanted to go to the nearby Bob Evans. Easy on and off to I-75 with plenty of restaurant choices nearby along with a Starbucks for the coffee hounds and the typical array of fuel stations. Although we easily found a parking spot, I can see where parking might be tight if you were to arrive late. Be sure to pull around to the I-75 side for the main entrance vs the one you first see which is the back side with stairs.
I stayed at this hotel this weekend, and I must say I was very pleased with this hotel. Everything was nice and clean only problem, the mattress, and pillows were very soft but other than that I would definitely stay at this hotel again.. The deck clerk's Austin and Caitlin were very nice and helpful...
We stayed here one night on our way to another destination. In the future, we would likely choose to stay elsewhere. There was ongoing construction at the hotel, which VERY MUCH limited available parking. We were lucky to find ANY parking space. Our room had a shower only, without a tub. However, there is no lip for the shower area, so the ENTIRE bathroom floor gets wet when the shower is used. We also received a phone call (possibly from the front desk), and there was a knock on our door TWO HOURS BEFORE checkout, which woke us up. We do NOT know who knocked, whether it was housekeeping or someone else. If we are in Lexington again, we will choose a different hotel.
For the price, the Comfort Inn on 2400 Buena Vista was a very good place to pull in late at night. Since we came in late, I was very glad we called ahead for reservations. Membership in the Choice club and an AARP membership made this the cheapest motel on the trip. The king room was small, but clean. the building itself was clean and close to I-75. Being close to I-75 traffic noise was evident.
