Perfect location, spacious quick walk to the beach!

The entire experience was so wonderful from check-in to check-out. The house was even more beautiful in person and so close to the beach. Plenty of parking too. Thank you to Rick and the wonderful team!! Lewes is so beautiful! Will be back soon

I stayed at this property for my family reunion this Summer & it is such a beautiful spot! Walking distance to the beach and an easy drive or bike ride to other beaches like Cape Henlopen State Park Herring Point. The kitchen is really well equipped and there were 7 actual beds in the place, allowing us each to have our own, without resorting to couches etc. The living spaces were pretty & comfy. A couple of nits: This house is managed by an old school realtor and that causes some issues - e.g. they like to communicate through their office phone, not through the VRBO app. Plus, they make you sign a lot of contracts that were a bit scary and also make you come & pick up physical keys during business hours. They also only answer questions during business hours. They don’t provide sheets & towels, which I guess is normal for Lewes properties (?), but if we wanted to rent stuff, the cost was insane (60 per person) Was cheaper to buy what we needed at Dollar General or Home Goods. Last but not least they asked us clean a lot more of the house than I’m used to at other rentals - things like emptying the dishwasher, sweeping the floors, etc. …On top of a cleaning fee of course. We did our best because we wanted to be respectful, but it cut into our time to enjoy the property. All in all it was a fantastic stay, with the exception of a few annoyances.
