Along with contemporary touches this is a dog-friendly retreat that perfectly blends style with tradition. There is a lovely stretch of golden sands only a minutes stroll from your front door where you can enjoy open views over the Firth of Forth. This tucked-away gem is a comfortable getaway for four people and is ideally located to explore the exquisite Fife Coastal Villages and St Andrews as well as the amazing surrounding countryside.

Fig Cottage is located in a quiet and peaceful spot This house is ideally suited for golfers, couples or friends and families alike. For those who love golf you are spoilt with the choice of courses on your door-step or a short drive away. Popular Courses are Elie, Lundin Links, Crail and Kingbarns and of course not forgetting the world famous courses of St Andrews. Very close by is Scotland's newest golf course, a new £11 million pound course at Dumbarnie overlooking Largo Bay.

A cosy cottage tucked away but close to the beach.

A cosy cottage tucked away but close to the beach. Really well set-up with everything you would need. We had fine weather but the nights were cold outside, but the heating was excellent and the wood-burning stove added to the cosy atmosphere. I liked the fact that it has a private garden too. I definitely recommend this property.

Contemporary cozy cottage by the sea

A great base for a two week stay in the east Neuk of Fife. Fig cottage is a lovely traditional cottage with a fresh and contemporary interior. Perfect for my husband and I and enough space to have friends and family stay over for a few days. The cottage is well equipped, has a spacious garden and is extremely close to the beach.

Lovely cottage, bright, nice decor, great secure garden and great location, 30 seconds from the amazing Elie beach and just behind The Ship Inn! Also lovely and quiet. One minor suggestion would be if there was a small welcome pack of some basic items. It’s always a nice touch eg enough tea bags, sachets of coffee, pint of milk just for when guest first arrive. Oh and some salt and pepper would have been good. Apart from that, would highly recommend.

The perfect location for a sporty family. A short walk to the sailing club and a 2 minute drive to golf and tennis. Great to be so near the Ship Inn too!

Beautiful little cottage in lovely spot

Lovely modern space which has everything you could need. Brilliant location a few metres to the beach which was great for our dog walks. Great to have an enclosed and sunny garden too.
