Room and pool area were excellent quality. I think its just been recently renovated. Bar good value but service was a bit slow. Not the fault of the staff as they were rushed off their feet.

Shower in room would not produce hot water, staff attempted to fix, left shower tray dirty from their shoes when they left. Moved room - second room not quiet with noise from plant nearby. Moved again, now in room 3 - shower temperature ok for my partner, only lukewarm when I showered (and nowhere near 38degreC max temp as mixer indicates). At breakfast time I wished to bring breakfast to my room, asked several staff and all said this was fine, when I asked another staff member for a tray they refused saying there was a tray service, making me make saver trips with what I could carry each time.

Not overly impressed with our room at all.

Our shower was broken, the beds are very uncomfortable. I’m not sure if we would book to stay again. We felt like the room was very dated and not as nice as the rest of the hotel? Very odd for the price and the style of the hotel. We were not overly impressed with our room at all.

Nice enough

Food was ok, not a great selection, asked for a plain ham toasted sandwich, it had to be returned twice before they got it right. Breakfast plates were cold, but aleast the food was warm! As long as you didnt look to carefully all appearances are grand, but they are having a refurbishment at the momment so can be quite noisy during the day. Bedding needs updating and tidied menu also nedds to take into account that not all people like sauces etc

Double bedroom too small. Stain on rug. No water in kettle, or in room, advised to buy water bottles at reception, none there, advised to ask in the bar, success! Not acceptable in a 4 star hotel.

Stayed here as a wedding guest and will definitely return. Check in was quick and efficient and the lady on reception was super friendly & welcoming. Room was grand, spotless clean but small (Room 115) Bar staff were lovely and really quick. Cocktails were beautiful! Food & service was 100% Overall lovely stay

Staff were excellent. The appearance of the hotel is welcoming and smart. However they need to look into how the door locks work as guests have to bang the doors to get them to close. When doors are being banged up to 3am this is very frustrating for guests trying to sleep. Also parking can be difficult even with limited spaces in the car park across the road.

Friendly service from all staff, a lovely afternoon spent in the pool, sauna & jacuzzi and the best fillet steak I’ve ever eaten in the bar for dinner. We had a fabulous stay 😊
