Nice hotel and close to the beach.

Very quiet area and relaxing. Away from hustle and bustle of Taormina. Hotel staff very friendly.

Air Con Stingy

We needed to change accommodations at the last minute and Hotel dele Palme had a room available for a rather lengthy stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I can't give them enough praise. My issue with the hotel was the air conditioning. They advertise that the rooms have a/c, but what they don't tell you is they the a/c to the entire hotel including the rooms is shut off in the middle of the night and not turned back on until 2/3 pm. This caused us to wake up well before we intended to on our vacation. The room became stuffy and hot by 7 am. I honestly wouldn't stay here again during the warmer months.

Everything was wonderful except the rather misleading statement that there's air conditioning. The ac to the entire hotel is shut off in the middle of the night and not turned back on until the afternoon. That means when we wanted to sleep in we couldn't because the room became stifling hot. As much as I enjoyed the staff and cleanliness, I would not come back.

Siamo stati bene con la mia famiglia. Hotel posizionato in ottima posizione a due passi dal mare, dotato anche di una piscina posizionata all'ultimo piano. Il personale molto gentile, le camere confortevoli e buona la colazione. Unica pecca la scarsità di parcheggi nella zona anche se l'hotel è dotato di tre posti riservati.

Bel Hotel mais décu par la clim coupée de 4h à 15h

Bel Hôtel, personnel accueillant, chambre spacieuse, bonne literie, piscine sur le toit très agréable mais GROS PROBLEME: pour une question d'économie, le directeur de l'hôtel coupe la climatisation aux alentours de 4h du matin et cela jusqu'à environ 15h (et cela tous les jours, le personnel s'excuse mais ne peut rien faire: "décision du directeur") Des rails de trains sont à 20metres de l'hôtel mais le double vitrage limite le bruit lors du passage des trains. Wifi accessible uniquement depuis la salle de réception.

Tyvärr så stängde hotellet av luftkonditioneringen mellan midnatt och klockan 15.00. Då hotellet ligger cirka 25 meter från en järnväg och 75 meter från en motorväg så var öppna fönster inte ett alternativ.

posizione molto comoda, ma deludente

Hotel dalla posizione molto comoda e dotato di una gradevola veranda/giardino. Le camere piuttosto grandi ma mancavano di accessori principali quali frigo bar e telefono. Televisore ancora molto datato con impossibilità di guardare decentemente la TV. La pulizia delle camere lasciava un pò a desiderare, ad esempio erano presenti molte ragnatele nel bagno in prossimità della finestra. Anche la colazione molto scadente, mancavano i basilari quali yogurth, cereali e croissant. hotel molto vecchio anche se (come dicono) recentemente ristrutturato.

Buon rapporto qualità-prezzo

Nel complesso albergo di media qualità e vicino al mare da dove dista solo poche decine di metri, ma non tutte le camere hanno la vista sul mare, la nostra ad esempio non l'aveva. Personale cortese e disponibile, la struttura è in buone condizioni anche se in alcuni particolari, tipo arredamento, infissi ecc..., potrebbe migliorare. Da migliorare anche la colazione: per il dolce solo fette biscottate, biscotti secchi e qualche prodotto da forno confezionato di non eccelsa qualità, ma anche miele, nutella e marmellatine. Almeno dei bei cornetti freschi avrebbero reso migliore il risveglio. Per il salato: solo uova sode, mortadella ed un tipo di formaggio. Per pochi giorni può essere una buona soluzione: noi abbiamo soggiornato due notti con amici.
