of famous actress Greta Garbo. For 2/4 People .Visualy old Turret house is an enchanting small indipend homme, located in Letojanni offers a spectacular sea view .Just 40meters from the seashore.and only 5km from Taormina .
In the past this tower was where guardians stood watch for night-time invasions from the sea by pirates. If there was a threat, they lighted a fire and let it rise and fall to indicate the number of ships they saw. The house is arranged on three levels: on the ground floor there is sitting room-kitchen (with four-flame stove, fridge, small freezer,washing machine and all necessary utensils) and a small bathroom with shower; on the first floor there is an air-conditioned bedroom with sea view and a bathroom with shower and hair dryer; on the top floor there is a small, air-conditioned bedroom with one sofa bed transformable in double bed or two single beds and a sea-view terrace with a table and chairs where you can dine while enjoying a view of the bay.

Enjoyable and Private

We enjoyed our stay in Sicily and this house made it a pleasant experience. An electrical adapter is needed to charge your phone if coming from the USA. We enjoyed access to waters edge a short walk away. The cute town is fun to walk through and our restaurant fave was Fabianos.

Ruhig und nah am Strand

Die Vermieterin ist wundervoll. Sie war zuverlässig in der Kommunikation und alles hat reibungslos geklappt. Für 4 Personen ist die Unterkunft zwar ausreichend, aber auch etwas beengt. Die Terrasse ist nur zugänglich wenn das Sofabett zusammengeklappt ist. Schön ist, dass die grundsätzlichen Dinge wie Öl, Kaffee, Tee etc. Vorhanden waren. Ein kleiner Backofen/Mikrowellenherd wäre toll um Focaccia Pizza aufzuwärmen. Toll ist auch, dass man das Auto vor der Unterkunft parken kann (nicht selbstverständlich in der Gegend). Die Küche ist ganz gut ausgestattet, aber es fehlt an Arbeitsoberfläche. Trotzdem haben wir uns wohl gefühlt und würden wiederkommen.

Erholsame Ostern in Letojanni

Nettes Ferienhaus am Rande von Letojanni mit einer sehr netten Vermieterin. Wir hatten bei der Ankunft eine große Schale mit frischen Orangen und Zitronen auf dem Tisch stehen, im Kühlschrank war eine Flasche Wasser. Auch bei sonstigen Problemen half uns die Vermieterin promt und unkompliziert weiter. Das Haus ist schön am Rande von Letojanni gelegen, alles ist fußläufig gut erreichbar. Für vier Personen ist es jedoch definitiv zu klein, v.a. der obere Raum mit der Ausziehcouch. Hier gibt es keinen wirklichen Kleiderschrank, wo man seine Sachen ordentlich verstauen kann. Zudem ist der Zugang zur Terrasse versperrt, wenn man die Couch ausgezogen hat. Das bedeutet jeden Morgen die Couch einklappen, alles verstauen.... Zweiter Minuspunkt war das Bad im ersten Stock. Zum einen funktioniert die Klospülung nicht, zum anderen ist die Dusche nicht dicht, so dass jedesmal beim Duschen das Bad unter Wasser gesetzt wird. Ideal ist das Haus für ein Paar, dafür können wir es auch uneingeschränkt empfehlen!

Urlaub im Piraten Turm

Der Empfang durch Carmen war sehr nett. Sie sprudelte gleich über mit allen wichtigen Informationen. Bettwäsche und Handtücher wurden nach einer Woche gewechselt. Etwas nervig sind die Roller, die hupend die enge Gasse vor dem Haus längs fahren. Insgesamt ein toller Urlaub!

Sehr schönes Haus direkt am Meer

Wir waren zum ersten Mal auf Sizilien und entschieden uns relativ spontan für das Haus. Es liegt am Ende der Promenade des Ortes Letojanni, alle Hotspots sind fußläufig erreichbar. Die Einweisung durch die sehr freundliche Gastgeberin war unkompliziert und versehen mit Tips zu Ausflügen und Gastronomie in der Nähe. Klare Empfehlung!

schöne Unterkunft in perfekter Lage

Wir (2 Erwachsene und 1 Kind - 5 Jahre) waren in diesem tollen Haus für 3 Tage um die Gegend (Ätna, Taormina, Alcantara Schlucht) zu erkunden. Das Haus ist an einem schönen Strand gelegen und das morgendliche Frühstück auf dem Balkon in der Sonne mit Blick auf das Meer war einfach herrlich. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und die Vermieterin Carmen war sehr nett. Für 3 Personen ist das Haus ideal ausgestattet mit allem was man benötigt. Wir können diese Unterkunft nur wärmstens empfehlen.

Fast perfekter Urlaub

Das Haus hat für zwei Erwachsene eine gute Größe und ist gut ausgestattet. Die Aufteilung über drei Ebenen ist ungewöhnlich, aber durchaus charmant. Die Räume waren beim Einzug sehr sauber und wurden nach einer Woche noch einmal komplett geputzt und die Handtücher wurden ausgetauscht. Carmen war eine hervorragende Gastgeberin, immer erreichbar. Sie hatte gute Tipps für Ausflüge in die Umgebung und stand uns bei Problemen hilfreich zur Seite. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt - nur die Sonne hätte sich öfter zeigen können.

Kurzurlaub in Letojanni

Wir, 2 Erwachsene + 1 Kind, wurden am späten Abend von Carmen am Haus empfangen. Dann gab es eine kleine Hausführung und einige Tipps zu Ausflugsmöglichkeiten, guten Restaurants etc. Im Erdgeschoss des "Piratenhauses" befindet sich die Küche mit Esstisch und Couch sowie ein kleines Duschbad. Im Stockwerk darüber befindet sich das Schlafzimmer mit Doppelbett und ein weiteres Bad mit Dusche. Im 2. Stock (ohne Tür, nur mit Vorhang) befindet sich ein Einzelbett sowie der Zugang zum Balkon. Pluspunkte: das Haus ist ruhig gelegen, man kann zu Fuß den Strand in Letojanni sowie Geschäfte und Restaurants problemlos erreichen; Rolladen an den Fenstern; Aus unserer Sicht verbesserungswürdig: Garderobe im Erdgeschoss, Ablage im Bad, Markise Balkon; Matratze war uns zu hart, aber das ist Geschmacksache; Wir haben uns diese Lage ausgesucht, um Taormina und den Ätna-Nord anzuschauen; weiterhin sehr zu empfehlen: Esel-Trekking mit Salvo in Linguaglossa (das Highlight für unsere Tochter!) Insgesamt waren wir mit unserem Aufenthalt sehr zufrieden (nur 3 Nächte).

Tout était parfait et conforme aux descriptifs.bien situé si vous voulez faire Etna avec guide car go-etna qui sont super prend a domicile.Graziella est toujours prête pour nous avons eu un petit souci d'ordre médical et elle a appelé de suite 5minutes plus tard nous étions au cabinet dentaire! Elle donne de bonnes informations touristiques et où se stationner le plus pour nous c'est qu'elle parle un peu Français.encore merci Graziella pour cet accueil.

Originelle Unterkunft, herrliche Lage

Sehr saubere und gepflegte Unterkunft, nah am Strand (78 Schritte :-)...) Hat alles was man braucht. Wünschenswert wäre ein Radio mit CD-Player und vielleicht dt. TV-Sender für die Nachrichten. Auf jeden Fall sehr empfehlenswert für ein Pärchen, wir hatten eine wunderschöne Urlaubswoche!

Très bon accueil de Carmen qui s'est montrée très disponible pour faciliter notre arrivée.

La maison proche de la plage est également bien située pour accéder aux principaux sites de la région. Carmen a aménagé de façon pertinente cette petite maison de deux étages. La maison est très bien entretenue et les équipements mis à disposition sont de qualité.

Schönes Häuschen über drei Ebenen, perfekt für Paare oder Familien mit max. 2 Kindern

Wir hatten eine schöne Zeit im (inzwischen) gelben Türmchen. Es liegt an einer winzigen Einbahnstraße (man sollte sich nicht vom Navi dort durch leiten lassen, sondern sich auf Carmens Beschreibung verlassen), strandnah, aber fußläufig zum Ortskern mit seinen Restaurants und Läden. Carmen hatte einige gute Tipps für uns, das Häuschen war gut ausgestattet, und die Lage erlaubt tolle Ausflüge, da man schnell überall hinkommt. Lediglich die Loungemusik aus der nahen Villa Garbo trübte manchen Abend auf dem schönen Balkon. Insgesamt aber alles bestens :)

Originelle FeWo in Strandnähe

FeWo auf kleiner Grundfläche, intelligent und originell aufgeteilt auf drei Etagen. Sehr sauber und teilweise kürzlich erst modernisiert. Meerblick von der Loggia im 3. Stock. Nur 1 Minute zum Strand, das Zentrum von Letojanni ist fußläufig in 5 Minuten zu erreichen. Küche ist für Selbstkocher eher etwas spartanisch ausgestattet. Sig.ra Graziella ist sehr freundlich und gibt bei Bedarf gerne Tipps für Aktivitäten. Wir würden in jedem Fall wiederkommen!

Schön gelegen, kein Touristenort, ruhige lage

Die Wohnung ist ansich schön, gemütlich und man hat alles was man braucht. Die Lage ist top (auch wenn mit dem Navi nicht direkt hinkommt). Carmen, unsere Ansprechpartnerin, ist super nett und hilfsbereit. Einen kleinen Minuspunkt gibt es für die Größe, denn für 4 Erwachsene ist sie definitiv zu klein. Maximal 2 Erwachsene und ein Kind. Aber ansonsten kann man die Wohnung nur empfohlen.

Sehr individuelle Unterkunft in Strandnähe

Wir haben den Aufenthalt im Turmhaus bei herrlichem Sonnenwetter Anfang Mai sehr genossen. Die Unterkunft ist gepflegt und sauber. Der Blick vom Balkon auf das Meer herrlich. Ausreichend Platz für zwei Personen, Küchenausstattung gut, Lage und Infrastruktur eignen sich für Ausflüge nach Taormina und in die Ätna-Region. Parkmöglichkeiten direkt vor der Haustür. Der Strand fußnah erreichbar. Das Örtchen ist reizend mit Strandpromenade und guten Einkaufsmöglichkeiten.
