Chalet Shiraz is a beautiful chalet situated in the picturesque village of Les Houches in France. It is conveniently loctated near restaurants and a large supermarket, making catering easy. We are minutes away from Chamonix and the Mont Blanc tunnel, giving you easy access to the adventure playgrounds of Italy too!

The chalet is the perfect year round base for enjoying everything the Chamonix has to offer. Whether it's an outdoor summer holiday (hiking, walking, mountain biking, climbing, summer skiing, paragliding, golf, white water rafting or canyoning), with some beautiful walks from our doorstep or the winter skiing and snowboarding season. Our chalet offers the ideal setting for holidays in Chamonix. Our spacious deck with outdoor tub leads out onto a large garden offering a perfect mountain setting for barbeques and soaking up the sunshine, with breathtaking views of the Mont Blanc and surrounding Chamonix mountains. Our location offers guests a great mix of a tranquil, family-friendly setting in a lively, mountain resort.

OUR CHALET ACCOMMODATION
Comfortably accommodates up to 18 people, whether they be groups of friends, colleagues, couples or families. There are three large double/twin rooms and three family/quad rooms sleeping 4 (with double/twin beds and bunk beds). Every bedroom has a private, en-suite bathroom. All beds zip-and-link so can be king-size beds or split into two single beds, with carefully selected mattresses, pillows, duvets and finest quality linen, ensuring complete comfort.

A Wonderful Vacation with Friends

My husband, myself, our adult son, and 3 mother couples enjoyed a lovely vacation at Chalet Shiraz. Every couple had their own room with a king size bed (or 2 singles) and an ensuite bathroom. The kitchen was well equipped to accommodate our large group and there was plenty of seating around the dining table as well as on the comfortable living room furniture. The only drawback to Chalet Shiraz is the steep hill up from the main road. We were lucky to have snow on the mountain but no snow on the roads for our stay. Be sure to have chains available if you come by car and bring your best walking shoes for hiking the hill!

Family Fun

This property is in a great location to multiple ski options. It is perfect for large gatherings. Communication with property owner and managers was excellent. We slept and entertained 19 without any problems. Loved it and would come again!

Amazing stay

16 of us have just had a wonderful Christmas at this chalet. There were 8 children (aged 4-11) and 8 adults. There was more than enough space for us all, the rooms were fabulous, with really comfortable beds. The chalet was in the perfect location, near to the bus stop, ski rental shops and super market. We all had the most amazing time. The communication beforehand was prompt and really informative and the help from Claire in resort was useful. We would love to return!!

Skivakantie met verschillende gezinnen

We waren met verschillende gezinnen, in totaal 9 volwassenen en 11 kinderen/tieners. Ligging: erg dicht bij de skibus, zowel naar Les Houches (10min op de bus) als naar Chamonix (35min op de bus). Door ging altijd wat gemakkelijker dan terug. Met skibotten en ski’s is de klim wel pittig te noemen (met een snowboard/boots gaat het zeker beter). De chalet ligt in een rustige buurt. De chalet heeft voldoende bedden en badkamers, maar de living/eetkamer en keuken is niet voorzien voor 20 personen, eerder voor 14 We hebben enorm genoten van de sauna en de jacuzzi.

Amazing place

We went 7 couples + 6 children. The chalet is perfect, exactly corresponding to the description. Not a luxurious place but you have no fear of deteriorating. Jenny welcome us and was very reactive to all our needs during our stay. Snow was removed to enable cars to park when we arrived. The chalet was warm and ready to stay. Russell, thanks a lot. For sure we will come again.
