A lovely family holiday
"A lovely break - the house was pretty much as described.The pool is great - the outside eating space is fantastic and there are 3 big fridges to keep everything cold. The living accommodation is great and it really is a lovely house. Tennis court is in good nick - but bring your own racquets and balls as the stuff there is not great.Thierry - who sorts out any issues was great and really responsive. A few small negatives - the oven is pretty useless and I see that previous reviews have mentioned this - a low cost solution that would make things easier for guests. Secondly - there are no restaurants within walking distance as in the description - but some good ones a short drive away. Finally - you have to pay to use the bikes in the photos - 20 euros a bike - just so you are aware these are not included. "

"We enjoyed a quite outstanding evening meal cooked by the owner. It was original and delicious.
The hotel itself was quirky, albeit in a good way. Old fashioned and probably in need of a facelift; but as a taste of rural France, hard to beat. "
