Spacious Villa with large private Pool and Air-conditioning in all 5 bedrooms

This is an excellent, spacious villa of 220m² floor area suitable for one or two families. It is set in private grounds, with remote control gates and mature gardens of 1300m² area and with a fully enclosed private pool . The pool in particular is a swimmer's pool as the depth ranges from 1.2 metres at the shallow end to 2 metres at the deep end. The house is located on the edge of a small village in the lovely valley of the Orb River. There are beautiful views from the property - there is a viewing terrace at the rear of the pool area which looks westward up the valley towards the spectacular Mont Caroux - ideal for watching the sunset each evening. There is spacious accommodation to sleep 9 maximum and the focal point of the property is the fantastic pool area that features a 10x5m pool and delightful covered terrace with large dining area and BBQ - all serviced by the adjoining, fully equipped summer kitchen with oven, fridge freezer, dishwasher and separate bathroom.
The vacation home is air-conditioned and features a kitchen, 2 bathrooms, and a balcony. There's space to spread out with 5 bedrooms and a dining area. Very nice house, with lots of room for our party of family and friends. Everyone appreciated the large pool. (You do find that you have to fish a few leaves out most days – it is overlooked by trees and hedges, which gives good privacy – but it is certainly worth it.) Some of us enjoyed the energetic walk up to Saint-Michel-de-Mourcairol and Pic de la Coquillade and the wild swimming above Colombières-sur-Orb. Lamalou-les-Bains is an attractive town with nice restaurants and the Intermarché supermarket at Hérépian (just 5-10 minutes by car) is very well stocked. We hope to return.

Wonderful house, we loved everything about it

Fantastic spacious house for our group, especially enjoyed the fantastic pool and BBQ area. Beautiful part of France, lots of options (hiking, beaches, city visits etc). So good to have A/C in the bedrooms as it was very hot during our stay.

Fabulous house and pool

We had a very relaxing stay in Les Aires. The house was very spacious and the beds were comfortable and it was a massive plus to have air con in the bedrooms. The pool was beautiful and a great size even with 8 of us in there and the covered area and second kitchen and bbq were a godsend! Overall would highly recommend.

Rural quietude

Family of 9 readily accommodated in this house at the end of a cul de sac. Transport is essential as there are no real facilities in the village but the Lidl supermarket in Lamoulin is only 5 minutes drive away, and cheaper than Intermarche in Herepian. The heatwave ensured that the excellent pool was well used and that most of our living was done out of doors. Our particular crcumstances made the fact of the second (fully-equipped, incidentally) kitchen a godsend for the coeliac member of the party, ensuring no cross contamination of supplies. Pezenas and Olargues were well worth visiting, but kayaking on the Orb is only for the young and fit!! We had a fine time and would not rule out going back if circumstances allowed.

Really enjoyed the villa and especially the large pool. 2 kitchens took a little getting used too but once organised it was great. BBQS by the pool in the evening were wonderful. Some of the pool area furnishings were tired but seviceable as were some kitchen items but overall we had no problems. House was cool enough during the very hot weather and had everything we needed. Probably the best home we have stayed in. Thanks to Paul for his holiday villa.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans la maison de Paul. Nous étions 2 familles (9 personnes), la maison est grande et les enfants ont largement profité de la grande piscine ! La communication avec le propriétaire a été très simple ! Nous recommandons vivement !

3 couples, 3 avis.AVIS 1: correct, , 2 bémols: la propreté de la piscine, et l'absence de communication de la personne qui était censée venir vérifier le chlore et nettoyer la piscine.AVIS 2: Maison spacieuse, linge de lit et de toilette ok et en quantité suffisante. La maison mériterait un entretien et un rafraîchissement (velux ne ferme pas, papiers peints se décollant...) La description de la configuration pourrait être plus explicite (l'espace piscine réellement séparé de la maison). L'aménagement de la cuisine à côté de la piscine est appréciable. L'eau de la piscine est propre mais un robot serait nécessaire pour nettoyer le fond par endroit couvert de feuilles et brindilles, de sorte que la baignade n'est pas très agréable. Globalement, le rapport qualité / prix n'y est pas.AVIS 3: Maison très calme et bien située, propre, spacieuse. Moustiquaires et climatisation bienvenues. Manque d'entretien sur l'intérieur: tapisseries, velux, débit d'eau très faible à l'étage, absence de volet et de rideaux opaques à l'étage... Espace piscine bien aménagé et protégé du vent. Regrets sur l'absence de robot pour la piscine, et l'eau n'étant pas chauffée, on ne s'y éternise guère... A noter les odeurs d'insecticide à la limite de l'incommodant dans certaines chambres. Comportement étonnant de la personne venue vérifier le chlore: n'a pas dit un mot le jour du départ, regardant sa montre car nous sommes partis à 10h15 au lieu de 10h...
Dépôt de feuilles et brindilles nne s'arrangeant pas au fil du séjour.

Nombreux problèmes

Propriété identique aux photos, belle piscine. Cependant la piscine est devenue cette au milieu du séjour, la pompe restait HS, pas de pression pour se doucher ou tirer la chasse d'eau. N'hésitez pas à faire appel à la gérante que est assez réactive malgré les nombreux problèmes constatés lors de notre séjour.

Très déçus, ne correspond pas à l annonce

Piscine: sur les photos elle paraît neuve et bien entretenue ce qui n est pas le cas. Écrit dans l annonce passage deux fois par semaine de quelqu un qui nettoie: c est faux et interdiction de se servir du robot de la piscine pour faire nous meme l entretien. La lumière dans l eau s échappe de son emplacement avec les fils à découverts dans l eau. Liner au fond de la piscine vieux et tout craquelé Parasols tous cassés Arbres autour de la piscine non taillés donc beaucoup de feuilles mortes dans la piscine tout le temps Coin barbecue à côté piscine: non nettoyé à notre arrivée avec le reste des poubelles des gens d avant. Mobilier de piscine plus que vieillot avec des clous qui ressortent, des transats cassés. Maison: mobilier rustique, chaises de la salle à manger instables. Tout petit frigo qui ne correspond pas au nombre de personnes reçues dans le logement. Frigo qui refroidit mal. Maison non climatisée on le savait mais : seulement deux ventilateurs dont un minuscule à notre arrivée alors que nous étions 8!!! Obligés de téléphoner à la gérante qui est venue le lendemain nous ramener les siens de chez elle!! Et le surlendemain 3 autres qu elle avait acheté. Donc au final 5 ventilateurs pour 8 personnes et aucun pour les salles communes donc obligé de les transférer tous les jours soit dans le salon soit dans la salle à manger. Il faisait 39 dehors!!! Cuisine: éclairage trop faible, peu d ustensile de cuisine en bon état: la gérante est allée acheter une poêle neuve quand je lui ai montré l état de l ancienne le lendemain de notre arrivée. Salon: pas assez d éclairage, avec les interrupteurs cassés donc avec enfant en bas âge très dangereux. Moustiquaires toutes abîmés donc une qui nous est tombée dessus en essayant de la fermer….donc les moustiques passent… Lit bébé: à barreau, avec toile d araignée dessus alors que précisé dans nos conversations avec le proprio qu il y avait bébé qui viendrait. Obligé de sécuriser le lit à barreau avec des couvertures car le proprio a pas voulu entendre que l enfant était tombée et s était cognée la tête le premier soir avec une bosse à la tête… Douche du premier étage: pas de pression donc inutile pour se doucher et pour le bain faudra attendre 30 min que la baignoire se remplisse. Les draps étaient propres, la vaisselle aussi. La gérante a fait comme elle a pu pour améliorer notre séjour. Très déçus, très cher pour la prestation, tout est à rénover

trés AGREABLE

La maison est très agréable, et la piscine géniale. Petit bémol, la cuisine est un peu sous équipée lorsqu'on est nombreux. Il manque à mon sens quelques grands saladiers (par exemple...) Mais rien de grave. Le barbecue à la piscine marche vraiment bien. La région est à découvrir. Petites randos extra, rivières.....

Dejligt hus, pool og omgivelser - fungerede perfekt.

Rigtig fin kommunikation med ejer både før og efter ophold. Dejligt hus med god plads og mange udenoms muligheder, inklusiv et dejligt separat pool-område. Man kunne have ønsket bedre kvalitet i køkkenet, og der er lidt få udendørs-stole, men vi fik det til at fungere.
